Horrible customer service. Lumber is poorly stored and stacked. Pricing is higher than competitors. I want to shop Canadian, but Rona's performance makes this impossible to do. I have no idea how they are still in business

We purchased our glass shower enclosure from here. Staff was helpful but not all that knowledgeable when it comes to explaining why one brand is better than another. Do your research and know what you want to buy before going. It's a nice large store, and they carry a lot of variety.

I was at the Coquitlam store on September 7, 2014 looking for two pieces of floor molding. They had nothing except in bulk pack of ten pieces. However the older gentleman by the name Rick and the store manager Michael was wonderful and was able to sell me two pieces from the bulk pack - save me a trip to the bigger store. That's what I call service. Keep up the good work Rona.

I got good deal on AC . It was on sale and they do not have in stocks and they called another store and I got it. nice customer service.

Very helpful staff, as well as a really good crew of people with good knowledge of the products. Redid some of the wall painting and flooring and was by far the most helpful out of all the hardware stores.

My neighbor and I decided to build our new backyard fence. We searched around the city and found Rona to be a very competitive store..Their prices were very good and the workers were very helpful , especially in the lumberyard. Our work is now completed and they even took back the extra material I purchased. The best part is that they even offer airmiles...I am now much closer to go on a vacation soon..Yeah! Good jb Rona

This place is a hit or miss in terms of customer service but it does have some people who are actually decently helpful, and its got pretty much everything you'd want from a hardware store. Look for the nice asian man in the power tools section, he is by far the most helpful. Most of the younger guys who work here really don't give a crap about customer service.

I'm using Rona paint - Collection series for trim and baseboard. I have never used such a terrible product in my many years of painting. Poor coverage, clumping while painting, poor flow, and does not level out well. Avoid this product - it has ruined my trim and I now have to sand and do over with another product.

Booked a home visit for hardwood floor installation at cost of $50.00 plus tax. Told installer would call in 3 business days. No call received until 7 days later. By then I had made other arrangements. 3 months later received $50 gift card from Rona to compensate me even though I never complained or did any follow up. Thanks, Rona.

Poor quality product and lack of selection. Although there is good price matching, the competition has better product and selection to offer. The store management were also not very friendly and did not know the answer to my question about the product and passed me to another employee that did not know. The store is a cosmetic improvement and I wonder how this company is still running?
