Deciding to change all our pots from plastic to ceramic we enjoyed going to Garden Acres and found several pots in the exact colors we needed. They were very helpful with getting us the correct soil and fertilizer and of course flowers for the pots.

We went to Golden Acres around the end of May to pick up some flowers for our front garden and for a few pots I wanted to fill. This has to be the best garden centre in Calgary. My son LOVES wandering around and picking out flowers, and with the huge selection they have it made for a couple hours of fun. They also had these plasticy cover things for my tree out front which fit perfectly and is keeping the weeds at bay. Their salespeople are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Great stuff! Will be going back for years to come :)

Staff were great in helping me pick out a beautiful array of seasonal flowers to fill 4 small rectangular planters that I have since placed to border my deck. I have had many neighbors and friends compliment the display since!

I just purchased a rose from Golden Acres. I found the staff extremely knowledgeable about the variety of roses, the hardiness, blooming season, and fertilizer tips. I also asked about insect control and was advised to not do anything about one type of insects. I was impressed that the staff did not try to sell me products when I didn't need them.

There was 2 huge statues I liked to purchase, I was there and there was a guy apologizes to me for having the store being crowded as they were stocking up the inventory, I talked to him and found he was the boss of the store, he is so young! Nick offered me a special discount for the statues and he even offer to store them for up to a year because my house is being built.

gardening in Zone 3 to 4 is challenging when you are used to easy grow zones such as 1 and 2. All the staff at Golden Acre Garden Sentres are more than knowledgeable in what grows and where it is best suited for. This aleviates high cost of hiring a landscape designer and allows you to spend more on the plants you want. No job is too hard to tackle with the helpful tips I received from Golden Acre
