Ordered a special part for a washer that we had previously purchased from ILAC. Part did not solve the problem but they would not take it back nor would they give us a merchandise credit. Have bought 2 major appliances from them in the past and numerous parts but will not shop there again.

the week after i moved into this house breakdowns began to occur. if it was electric or used water in any way it broke. i have a large family, necessitating "as quick as possible" repair to the fridge and stove (kitchen sink...etc...). ilac sent a very competent repair man shortly after i called. i was desperate and they delivered. too bad GE just doesn't make a good filter system on their fridges. my gas stove works like a charm and the fridge no longer leaks. ilac is a local company that delivers quality workmanship when you need it. the repair man was careful to clean up before he left each time and called me on my cell half an hour before he was about to arrive so that i didn't have to sit around waiting for him.

I would highly recommend you STAY AWAY from this company when requiring any type of repairs of any sort. They may decieve the consumer to think they are a better value (since they try to manipulate you on the call when they gratiously mention their service charge is $69 comparison to the $79 of what everyone else in Vancouver charges) but they WILL get you plus more on the time they try to convince you they spent working on the equipment and charging you what they intentionally forget to mention 15min to drive to your place and back! That would be $50 just driving time. RObbery! You would assume the driving time would be included in the rediculous $69 dollars of nothing they do. My bill was close to $200 just to tell me it was broken and they couldn't fix it. A professional company that knows their equipment would not take 1hour to tell you it's broken. If you are convinced and dumb enough to actually call them, be sure to stand their and time the clock. They will try to deceive you on how long they have spent working on the piece of equipment. Oh and be at the door when they get their because they will charge you for every minute he is waiting for you to get it. A ridiculous rip off. Stay away. There are many other reputable companies within the lower mainland. GOod luck.

ilac has provided continual home service to repair the appliances in our "new to us" house. we are slowly working out all of the kinks and ilac has been consistantly helpful.
