From our first phone inquiry through the moving and storage process, our experience with Richard and his team was truly extraordinary. Great attitudes, exceptional attention to detail, prompt follow-through on promises, and a more than fair price ... WOW! Richard and Matthew even carried one of our oddly shaped and fragile items with them in the cab of the truck ...talk about caring service!! Bravo guys, and THANK YOU!!! Richard and his crew were exceptional in our recent move from our Vancouver home. This was a complicated move. They needed to load half our household goods and move them to our new house on the gulf islands. This included getting their truck on and off a small barge, then hauling all our furniture and goods down a steep hill to the new house. These guys worked their butts off. I had to get them to stop and slow down to drink water. They smiled the whole time and were just delightful to work with. The took very good care of our possessions, using shrink wrap to protect the furniture and large plants. Everything was handled very professionally with no damages, not even a mark on the walls. They were very attentive to where things were to go, and made sure we were happy with placement of goods. They even carried down some lumbar for us. A week later, we were back with them moving the second half of our goods to a one-floor walk up apartment in Vancouver. Again, they worked carefully, energetically and very professionally. We were delighted with their services. Definitely the best movers we've ever had. Richard is very helpful with the planning and taking the stress out of moving days. He really goes the extra mile and makes sure the customer is satisfied. Great job!

Richard and 2 of his workers helped us move at the beginning of April. I would not hesitate to recommend his company, and I've already told my friends about Raincity. We had never hired movers before, and were nervous about the cost, the details, the planning, etc. but it couldn't have been easier. We've definitely got more moves ahead of us before we really settle down (boo) but it's not quite so daunting to think about because we know we'll call Raincity again. The price was right, the workers were all helpful and friendly, and their work was exceptional. Considering that the owner of the company is also one of the movers, you know that no corners are going to be cut, and the service is going to be top notch. We were not disappointed. I found them through HomeStars, so thank you to all of the other reviewers for a good call.

Richard and his team just completed our move from Vancouver to North Van. I found them online via this site and picked them based on the other positive reviews. I couldn't have been more impressed! Excellent communication leading up to the day of. Very easy to work with once they arrived. Incredibly pleasant and polite. They were very diligent to wrap and protect all of our goods which was appreciated. They also made sure to protect all of our flooring on both sides. Excellent job from Rain City! Richard should be your first call!

I live in Calgary and was recently in Vancouver to help move my Mom into an assisted living facility. Richard was referred to me, and was delightful to work with both before and during the move.
