Pleasant. On time. Worked hard and non-stop [which given that they charge by the hour is a good thing]. Only charged a total of 1/2 hour travel time to get from Vancouver to New Westminster [for pick-up] and from Vancouver to their next job. Shrink wrapped everything. Used moving pads when necessary. Put a mat down in the house to keep water off the hardwood [it was raining outsider] and on delivery took off their shoes before walkiing on the carpet. These guys are excellent!

The most smooth and friendly moving company I've hired and I move often. Movers we're friendly, fast and very careful with my belongings. No damage to the walls or my hardwood floors which they covered with a proper mat. I have recommended them to all of my friends.

I have used Rain City Moving twice now, and, while I don't plan to move again for a long time, if I do, I will definitely call them again. They were careful with our stuff (nothing broken either time), efficient with packing space (got everything into the van in one load - which was no easy task), and tirelessly cheerful and courteous (not always easy in this business). I know I can rely on Richard and his team to make the onerous task of moving as easy as possible.

Richard, the owner was great from the first time I called him. He confirmed everything by e-mail. No surprises on price. He and his crew were right on time (actually early) and did an amazing job. Smooth, no damage to anything, and very efficient. My best moving experience!

Raincity movers was recommended to me by my girlfriend who noted them as exceptional. I have never hired movers before and this was a big one since I was moving into my first owned home and had quite a bit of furniture and boxes. Richard and his assistant were early to arrive at my old place and were so nice and curteous and very efficient discussing quickly which items would go first etc. Both took absolute care in protecting the items needing protecting and were so careful moving things so they would not get damaged. I was surprised at how fast the move actually went with the amount of stuff I had them take. Upon arriving at the new place it was slightly awkward getting into my suite but they made it work without jeopordizing time or the quality of protecting my belongings from damage and remained in good spirits, polite and friendly throughout the move. It could not have gone better and I was just so pleased with the whole experience. I plan on recommending them to anyone who asks for a mover. Thanks so much guys great job!!

Richard and his partner (so sorry can't remember his name) showed up on time and totally prepared. They were friendly, polite and professional. They shrink wrapped all my furniture and wrapped the wood furniture in blankets and taped it. They treated everything like is were there own. They moved me in record time with absolutely no stress at a very low cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone :) My landlady at my building even got their card as she was really impressed as well. Great Job Guys !!!!!

Richard and his company relocated our 1800 sqft condo in Vancouver over the course of one day. They were proactive, professional, and great to work with. This was my first time moving with the help of professional movers so I didn't really know what to expect. Richard and his partner arrived on time and were incredibly quick, efficient and pleasant. They even took the time to wrap items to protect them when necessary and wrapped our mattresses and other items to keep them from getting wet in the rain. When they arrived at our new apartment they immediately went to work and even laid down mats to protect our carpets from soiling! I was very impressed and so was our new property manager. The whole move only took 4 hours, I couldn't believe it! I can't say enough good things! A+
