When we started meeting with contractors for the task of finishing our basement, we were looking for not only the best value for our money but most importantly, someone who understood our vision for the project and was open to providing suggestions without changing the core of what we wanted. Some of the companies we spoke with listened to us but we could tell they wanted to do it “their way”. Dean did listen! In fact, he offered several suggestions that enhanced our ideas! And the proof is in the final product – we couldn’t be happier with our new basement!!! Dean and his wonderful team did a fantastic job consulting with us throughout the entire project, offering helpful suggestions along the way, cleaning up every day before they left, and providing us with a stress-free experience! We’re now enjoying hours of fun and relaxation around our very cool bar, playing pool in front of our floor to ceiling brick fireplace (that matches the bar!) and kicking back and watching some tv on the big screen! We’ve also been able to reap the benefits of our new family gym housed behind some very edgy double-French doors! Bottom line – if you want your home project completed by a team that cares that you get the best advice, best service, best value and the best finished product, go with Dean and his crew at Royal Renovations! p.s. Within 60 days, we had them back for two more jobs in our home! Again, outstanding work! We will use them again!

After reading all the glowing reviews on this website we decided to give Dean a call for our basement reno. We were not disappointed. Dean and his crew did an outstanding job. We love it! We initially thought we would just get a new floor installed. Then we decided that the bathroom in the basement was in need of an overhaul and we wanted to have some closets taken out of the hall to make more space in another room. Dean was really helpful and knowledgeable all the way along.(And very patient while I dithered over which tile to use in the bathroom!)His crew did a great job- everyone who came into our house was courteous and pleasant- even putting up with our two crazy dogs. We had no qualms about having them in the house when we were not at home. We love the results and are looking forward to using Royal Renovations to renovate our kitchen and other bathrooms in the near future. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home.

My first encounter with Royal Renovations was through this website. I was looking for a contractor to renovate the 2 bathrooms in my house -- the main upstairs bathroom and the basement bathroom both which were several decades old in style and function (think "green fixtures and tile and weird shape" upstairs). I had gotten some names from friends but was also looking on my own. Royal Renovations stood out because they had fantastic reviews from all their clients; I was somewhat sceptical that their ratings could be so high but decided to call Dean for an estimate. After meeting with all the contractors and reviewing their estimates, I decided to go with Royal Renovations. Dean and Mike did quality work and were very responsive, very clean and very pleasant to deal with. I had a leaky basement issue that caused a long work stoppage while a basement expert addressed it. As a result, the renovations expanded into the laundry room but Royal Renovations was able to accommodate the extra work and fit my job back into their schedule even though they were busy with other jobs. My bathrooms were transformed from 70s nightmares into modern rooms. I am very happy with the results. Thanks to Dean and Mike for a great job! I will definitely recommend Royal Renovations to anyone having work done and have them back for any future needs.

We just had our basement finished by Royal Renovations. Dean and his crew were outstanding. They know how to produce a complete package. They did a fantastic job and will be highly recommended by us.

We had our basement finished recently to include a rec area, bedroom, ensuite bathroom and storage area. They delivered as promised and were very accommodating. The renovation was completed on time and within budget. The service and workmanship was top quality and Dean and his team were extremely pleasant to deal with. They truly exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them to anyone doing a home renovation. We would certainly use them again for any future projects.

I recently had my basement finished by Royal Renovations. They did an outstanding job. It consisted of an extra bedroom, 3-piece bath, family room and wet bar. The work was completed on time, it was exceptional workmanship and the staff, and owner were very professional and caring.The work was completed in accordance with the agreed upon estimate. While the workers had to compete with 2 howling dogs all day long, they never once complained. We went out of town for a week during the renovations and I had no hestation in leaving these very trustworthy people in my home. I have since recommended this company to two of my friends who are currently in the process of having their basements finished by Royal.

We already had an existing finished basement,if you could call it that, is was basically done in sections by the old home owner and looked very awful.Dean and his crew came in and demolished the existing basement and re-did the hole thing. the basement included a bedroom bathroom and living room area. there finishing work and attetion to detail was impeccable. I couldn't imagine the basement looking any better than it does, I would recomend Royal Renovations to anyone looking to do home renovations.

We are exceptionally happy with our renovations. We never thought our house could be this beautiful. When we go away, we can't wait to get home! Dean and his crew were always on time, very polite/courteous and VERY clean and tidy. There were no hidden costs - the contract was carried out exactly the way it was written. Our renovations were started and completed when Dean said they would be and the house was left immaculately clean. We have called Dean back a few times for little touch ups here and there, and it has never been a problem. Our phone calls have always been returned and we always felt like we were Royal Renovations number one priority. This was our first renovation project and we are more than happy with the results. We will definitely be hiring Dean in the future when we are ready for more home improvements.
