We brought in 6 different companies with different quotes. All came back with different recommendations, different opinions on equipment and vastly different prices. Ductless.ca, although middle of the pack on price, reassured us with their expertise and thoughts on the job. Great choice.

Ductless was the first of 4 recommended estimates I received for installing a split, ductless air-con system for my 100 yr. old attached row house. Since there was no outside wall, Paul, the salesman (and owner?) recommended we route the intake/outflow lines behind the bathtub/sink and position the unit in the upstairs hallway in such a way that it these lines would not show. All the other salesmen (who seemed very knowledgeable of installation requirements) were convinced this would be impossible and recommended other methods, all of which would have meant plastic piping descending across the length of walls. I will forever be indebted to Paul for his imaginative and brave solution. It took some doing but he was here to help the installers do a neat, professional job. Ductless's price was the seond lowest and they offered the best warranty.

Great experience start to finish. Called to request an estimate, and sales person (Paul) called to setup appointment promptly and was here the next day (this was in mid-May, while temperatures were still cool). Price quoted was sharp, and spec of unit and the accompanying warranty was great. We accepted the quote the next day, and within a week, the installation crew arrived on the scheduled day, and installed the unit nice and cleanly. They were polite and professional. Highly recommended.

I recently replaced my old boiler and hot water system. I had received several quotes, and Paul's was quite competative. Paul was great at helping us navigate the options and we settled on a Viessman Boiler and Traingle Tube storage solution. The install staff were awesome!, These guys showed up as scheduled and stayed late to finish enough of the install so that I had hot water for the morning shower. Their two day install delivered a complete solution and gave me a flawless system, cleaning up a previous contractor's mess of my hydronic system. They protected all my floors, cleaned up after themselves, and did a really great job!! Great company and good guys!

Paul installed a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim with one outdoor unit and two indoor units for us a couple of years ago (before I knew about Homestars), and he did a good job. His price was competitive with other companies I contacted, and in fact he ended up installing a higher-BTU indoor unit in the main rooms without charging more than the original quote. He and his crew did neat work, returning after the installation to check things out and to add the outdoor aluminum covers to hide the line sets. The system has worked very reliably and is very efficient -- the hydro bills hardly show a blip. I also recommended Paul to a neighbour who needed her outdoor unit temporarily removed to facilitate building repairs. She said he did the job for about $300 less than what her own installer was going to charge. Two happy customers.

I moved into a small semi that had baseboards heaters and no AC or ductwork. After some research online I decided a ductless heat pump was the answer. Paul was great during the quote giving me honest opinions and describing the solution he recommended in detail, this was two single split system units (one for each floor) and the install of a sub-panel. On the day of the install the lads were quick, courteous, quiet and extrememly tidy, the job took under a day and the units have been working perfectly since.

We just moved into a 62 year old home and the recent heat wave was enough to convince us we needed A/C. Paul from Ductless.ca came by the same day we called to provide a quote. The installation happened a few days later. The work crew arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and finished in less time than had been estimated. We will have to update our boiler soon and will definitely be calling Ductless.ca to do the job.

Overall, we decided to move forward and have Paul and his team install the unit (all the while removing our old 30 year old system). Paul and his staff were courteous and professional.
