I will never order from Appliance Canada again. Their delivery company cannot be trusted. They delivered a washer and dryer over a month ago. The dryer had been dropped and damaged. They scheduled a delivery for a second dryer the following week but did not deliver as it too had been dropped and damaged. We accommodated their schedule on both occasions. No more dryers could be delivered for two weeks because their remaining stock of dryers had been damaged. Because we had been inconvenienced, Appliance Canada arranged with the owner/operator who delivers their products to arrive at our home on Tuesday of this week by 8 am. The driver decided they had better things to do than adhere to the schedule they agreed to. They called us to say they would arrive at 10:30 am. We could not be here at 10:30 as we work. We rearranged for delivery this morning, Friday June 17th at 8 am. The driver had agreed to this time! The driver called at 8 am to say, 'we will be there between 9 and 11.' This alone is the reason I will never purchase from Appliance Canada again. Is this what happens when you contract out with a private company? Appliance Canada has no control over its delivery process and apparently doesn't really care it they do. As LEONS owns Appliance Canada, I will be writing their CEO to see if he/she cares. Do we have our DRYER after all of this? HELL NO!!! Delivery rescheduled for next Monday.

My experience with Appliance Canada was, overall, very positive. My sales rep (Dan) was great - very patient (no matter how many questions I asked and how many times I came in to look at different items, he remained patient), he was helpful, he answered all of my questions with useful information, and he is knowledgeable about the products. I had done my research before coming to the store and I found that Appliance Canada’s prices were lower than every other store, at least for the products that I was looking at. After a few months of indecision, I finally decided on a fridge and an oven and made the purchase. When it came to scheduling delivery, the store provided amazing flexibility. My contractors kept missing the target dates for completion of my kitchen, and it was a huge relief to discover that Appliance Canada offers a great deal of flexibility in rescheduling delivery to future dates. The delivery process itself was not fun. It is the one aspect of my experience that I did not enjoy. The first challenge is that you have absolutely no choice over delivery times – for example, you cannot request morning or afternoon delivery – you will be assigned a block of time (usually a five-hour timeframe) and you have no choice in the matter. As I discovered, there is no guarantee that they will arrive within that assigned block of time (for one delivery, I was told the delivery men would arrive between 12:00-5:00 p.m. but they showed up at 9:45 a.m., which would have been great if I had actually been home). Also, the store insists that the delivery truck will phone you an hour before they arrive – do not rely on this – for my first delivery, they phoned from my driveway – for the second delivery, they called 20 minutes ahead – and for the third delivery, they did not phone at all. My advice for other customers is that whatever date you confirm for delivery, just stay home until the delivery arrives. On my first delivery date, the fridge and oven arrived within the scheduled timeframe. The fridge was unwrapped by the delivery men and it looked good. The oven was covered in sticky protective plastic (it’s very sticky and is not easy to pull off – the delivery men did not unwrap it). The store had advised me to examine the products carefully before the drivers left, but the driver wasn’t very patient and I felt very rushed, so I signed the paperwork and he left. Naturally, ten minutes after they left, I noticed damage on two different areas of the oven. I called customer service at the store and they were really great. They offered me three choices, and I chose the option of a replacement oven. The second delivery (the replacement oven) arrived with the same damage as the first oven, and the drivers and I figured out that the problem was with the manufacturer’s packaging (or more specifically, their lack of packaging). The store took it back without any problem and arranged for a third oven, which arrived two days later in good condition. I compliment the store on its policy of ensuring that the customer receives a satisfactory product. Overall, I was very impressed with my sales rep (Dan) and with the customer service staff (Susan and Robbie in particular). The delivery process was admittedly a nuisance, but the sales and customer service side was so positive that I felt it more than made up for the inconveniences of the delivery experience. I have recommended, and will continue to recommend, this store to others.

Best price and service that I could find. Anita/Chantelle are really great to deal with. I did not even have to go into the store!!! Delivery was on time and they took care not to damage anything inside the house. Follow-up call + 48 hours to inspect...you can't ask for better service. Would buy from again.

Bought new fridge and have had all kinds of problem since the beginning. After months of complaint, finally found a big crack on the inside panel. They refuse to replace the fridge. Do not buy from this store.

Appliance Canada was our first stop and they said people usually come here last because we can't be beat. Of course, we shopped around anyway and in the end found their claim to be true! Bought four kitchen aid appliances to take advantage of the multi-product disount. The gas cooktop was by LG which was delayed but Paul Ng (who we would reccommend) offered the floor model knowing we were keen to finish to the work. Thanks for your help!

I bought over $12000 appliances from Appliance Canada. and paid for installation separately. When I received the oven, one part was not correct due to installer who came later to my house from Appliance Canada. Therefore I asked Appliance Canada to take care of it. Their customer service is worse than any company I ever dealt with. Not returning my calls. After numerous calls, finally Telling me that's my problem with manufacturer warranty and they can not do any thing about it... basically as soon as appliance is in your house they don't have any responsibility for missing parts, incorrect parts or any other damage. I could not believe what I was hearing. For brand new appliance that is not completely installed (sitting in my kitchen and not being used), sold by Appliance Canada, I as a customer have to deal with manufacturer and Not their Problem!!! I don't understand why they have a customer service if there is NO service to customers. I won't shop with them ever again. and I don't recommend Appliance Canada to any body.

We got our appliances according to the delivery date, except the hood was NOT delivered (which we paid around $1700 with tax for it).My husband he sing the delivery paper in his mind,that everything is delivered. They are saying that they delivered the hood to us, unfortunately they did not.The drivers aether delivered it to somebody elses house or they sold it to somebody else. They do not want to give us another hood even though we paid for it, and do not have it. So, we lost $1700!

I purchase a number of units from this company. The dishwasher was delivered with mud at the back of the unit. When we installed the dishwasher we noticed it started to leak and the drainage hose was not functioning properly. I contacted customer service and within 4 hours I was informed I would receive a new dishwasher. Now that's what i call customer service - quickly resolving the problem.

I got taken for $350+ to have 2 of my appliances installed. The sales person told me that I needed some extra fixtures that do not come with the home....Since I am a single woman who is doing this all by myself, I guess he thought this would be a nice opportunity for a little bit of commission. I have spoken to other people who know that it can be done for less....let's see how the delivery goes...i'm dreading that now..

I bought my appliances from this company later in 2009 and after 10 months they haven't delivered all of them. I spoke with all the staff that I could reach, incluiding GM, Sales Manager, Customer Service Manager. They don't know what service means. I would make my exprience public to see if I could reach asa many honeowner as we can. I wish that I could talk to the owners of that company as well. Appliance Canada should be closed down.
