Nick at Trim Work by Design was there at the time we had set. This is very essential to me since there were contractors before that did not keep their promises as they had scheduled. Sometimes, some would even come as late as three hours. This does not sit well with me since my schedule is very busy and it sets me back a lot. I have to wait at home until the contractor arrives and complete the job so I have a pet peeve about being on time and staying on schedule. Nick was not only on time, but began the project immediately. He was very focused and non-talkative. He gave me the details and then went right into the project. He also used a good assistant so he could finish the job go faster. He did the crown moulding with excellence. I am so happy that I employed this company. They actually have the skill and knowledge that it takes. In fact, there is another project that I have been thinking about lately and right away, I told Nick about it. I hired him to do the extra project right away and he said he would come back the next day to take a look at what needed to be done. It is noticeable that Trim Work by Design is a company that takes pride in customer service and customer satisfaction. They won’t have any challenges to get repeated business from people that they have serviced. I know that I will be telling all of my friends, associates and family members about this great company. and if that is the case, then they will not have any problem getting repeat business. I know for a fact that I will be referring this service to my friends and family.

Gillian came to our house and made suggestion to us of where and what moulding can be added. We decided to put the moulding on our family room and the open area of the second floor. Two men came within 3 days and finished installation in a few hours. The job was very well done.

Gillian came to measure the house for crown moulding. She was meticulous! Her tradesmen arrived a week later and the job was perfect...even the tricky corners!Price was fair too. I would highly recommend this company to all.

We contracted this company to do mouldings over Christmas Holidays last year. Gary asked us to come down and check out his showroom - which we did on the weekend before Christmas. This is the second project that I have done with this company. I have never experienced such quality, friendliness, cleanliness, and trustworthiness in a company before. They present to you a low-pressure informative and beautiful showroom where you can browse thru millions of samples of decorative moldings. Their invaluable decorating advice was much appreciated and they gave us a lot of ideas for our home.

We purchased our moulding from this company through Direct Buy. After reviewing a number of businesses we found that Trimwork had the best selection of decorative mouldings and prices by far. We did our own install and the quality of the moulding is outstanding. We do plan on doing futrhur decorative moulding throughout our home in the near future and will definitely use Trimwork for our purchases. Supurb selection, quality and reasonably priced.

I was referred to Trimwork by Design by my kitchen contractor. We are building a custom home with 12 foot ceilings and had been looking, (it seemed for ever), for an exceptional trim company. Every other company we contacted didn't seem to have all the types of design we wanted or did not have the installation capabilities. I first contacted Harold, who put me in touch with Gary and Livia. I went to their showroom and was very impressed with the room set ups they have their. It is one thing to see a sample of the trim and mouldings but it is so much more impressive to actually see them used in room designs. Walking into their showroom is like walking into a family home. Both Gary and Livia make you feel welcome and comfortable and not pressured. Livia also makes a wicked cup of coffee. Gary is very knowledgeable about his product and installation. He came out to the house and did the measurements. We discussed various design techniques, many of which I had not thought of. He submitted his quote within a week of visiting our house. Gary's crew of Ray and Ron came out and were very professional and knowledgeable. They also have a sense of humour. They arrived on time and when promised. They even gave us some additional ideas. Their ideas were incorporated in the original designs and gave the ceilings that extra "wow" factor. They finished the work within the time frame promised and we couldn't be more pleased. I would recommend Trimwork by Design to anyone looking for professionalism, great design ideas, quality workmanship and reaonable pricing. Regards, Estelle

Gary, the owner of Trimwork by Design was referred to me by a General Contractor friend of mine. I contacted Gary and spoke with him about the scope of work my wife and I wanted for our home. We met Gary at the house and expressed what we wanted. Gary took all the measurements and went back to his office to get to work. Unfortunately, I have never been to his office however, my wife raved about the designs and work this man does. She was thoroughly impressed with his recommendations and offered alternatives based on her taste and style. When it came out to pricing, he was very reasonable and compared very well against quotes from other companies. I dont feel comfortable disclosing the price especially when there arent pictures of the work they've done. This site forces you to enter a price so I entered a round number of $5,000. Every home is different and price should be based on the scope of the work being done. I would strongly suggest calling Gary. I got involved at the 11th hour as I usually do to put in my 2 cents. Gary and his staff (Darren and the boys) were always receptive as they respected this was our home and not once did they object or take offence to last minute changes. They always had a smile and were ready to please however they could. If it was possible, they would figure out a way to get it done so that we were satisfied. I was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness of the workers and so surprised at how they cleaned up so well after themselves (which is so unusual for a contractor). Their quality of work was fabulous down to every detail. I have absolutley nothing bad to say about them whatsoever. I am confident that my friends and family will love the work they have done as soon as we have our grand opening and I would so strongly recommend them to anyone considering doing any type of trim work in their home.
