Detail, detail and detail! That is how I remember Yanic Simard and his TIDG group. I had a pleasure of working with him on several kitchen and bathroom renovation projects. Our unique relationship started when he came to our showroom shopping for cabinetry for his clients. After several meetings and site measures, the final projects were stunning makeovers, that brought out the best out of the condo and the house. Each with very unique challenges , brought out the best of the home space and the location, keeping the feel of the neighbourhood,yet allowing the personal needs of his clients to be adressed. What struck me as a designer, was that Yanic always worked with almost a surgical attention to detail. This made projects run smoothly, even through small construction hick ups. Absolute- not upcoming, but already existing STAR among the new Toronto interior designers.
