Bathroom and Laundry Room Renovations

Ensuite master bathroom and Laundry room We found Ted King through this forum and we are glad we did. We would recommend Ted to anyone and we have him booked for additional renovations in our home. Ted isa man of his word, who went above and beyond and offered suggestions that we incorporated in the renovation. A man of perfection, he is detailed and thorough. Our master ensuite was completely gutted and Ted did a fabulous job creating a bathroom that was beyond our expectations. In the laundry room, Ted made everything work even when we were short a cabinet door. He literally pulled a rabbit out of his hat and added his special touches to this room. We are both anxious for Ted to come back and start phase 2 of our renovation. A job well done!!

Ted works his magic again!

Complete Bathroom Renovation Ted King recently completed a total bathroom renovation for us. This included an expansion of the space into an adjoining closet, removal of old fixtures, flooring and drywall, new insulation and drywall, replacement of an existing window, installation of 2 new glass block windows, construction of a large corner shower and separate soaker tub enclosure, radiant floor heating, and tiling. This is the 2nd major reno project that Ted has done for us and we would not consider hiring anyone else to work on our home. The end result is a beautiful spa type bath. As always, Ted was punctual, organized, and cheerful. He had some excellent suggestions for improving the finished product and we are thrilled with the outcome. Thanks again Ted! Ted was amazing

Build a basement appartment While working under a tight time limit and working with a picky building inspector Ted did an amazing job of converting an idea into reality. His communication skills are excellent and he was a pleasure to work with. I WILL call him again.

Ted King was Exceptional once again!

Complete Kitchen Renovation I first reviewed Ted a couple of years ago when he did our pool deck/enclosure for us. He did such a great job that I had no choice, but to hire him again for our kitchen renovation. Our kitchen included a complete demo, wall removal and new support beam, heated porcelain floor, new electrical and lighting an a most beautiful back splash. Ted's attention to detail was the best. He did most of the work on his own, but when he needed to sub-contract, there wasn't a glitch in the timing or quality. As with our last experience with Ted, he listened to our every idea or concern and there was never a problem. As before, we will use Ted again for any future renovation.

Ted is an amazing and patient man.

Kitchen reno and other items We hired Ted King Contracting to get a our kitchen ready for an installation. This meant a tear down, tile floor, re-route electrical, deal with the unforeseen behind a wall that came down, set up for a gas stove, back splash and the list goes on. My husband and I are not savvy home improvement people but we knew what we wanted just had no idea how to get there. Ted was incredibly patient and reasonable with us. We have been burned many times in the past by contractors. Ted made us really feel well taken care of and he is exceptionally clean and respectful which is important when you have a baby at home. We would use Ted again and again and we highly recommend him for many types of jobs.

Wonderful Worker

Basement Renovation First let me say that we found Ted King via Home Stars. His reviews were great, thus we decided go with him for the renovations we wanted to do on our basement and we're very happy we did. He's a great worker who showed up on time each day. His work ethic is top notch and shows itself in the quality of his workmanship. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. A few of the things he did for us are as follows: installed new kitchen cupboards, installed pot lights, built a closet in the bedroom, finished off two little pantries including the installation of ceramic tile, installed two closet organizers, installed an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We've already decided that Ted will be the guy we hire for any future renovations. Everyone who has seen the work he did for us has been very impressed by the quality of the workmanship. Thanks Ted!

Hardwood flooring and stairs

HARDWOOD FLOORING We were referred to Ted by a mutual friend and thrilled with the job he did.

Once he starts a job, he's there till its done, which is not easy to find in a contractor. He takes pride in his work and is most certainly very trust worthy with the care of your home.

He came in on a Tuesday and was completely done 750 sq ft of hardwood flooring which included 2 sets of stairs and a small landing by the Sunday at dinner time in 4 days.

We made the right investment in using Ted King. Recommend him, absolutely! We will definetly be using him for future projects in our home as well.

Thanks again Ted, it looks beautiful and everyone who sees it is very impressed.

Kitchen Addition

Kitchen Addition Ted has just completed an addition to our kitchen, which involved removing an exterior wall of the house. From the initial planning stage to completion, he supported our ideas, was always available to answer questions, offered suggestions that improved the final outcome, started and finished on time and respected our concerns with protecting adjoining areas of our home during the reno. After experiencing a frustrating bathroom reno with a major company a year ago, our experience with Ted has renewed our faith in a skilled contractor. Ted is a true professional, a joy to work with and has given us a room we are thrilled with.

Great basement finish

Finishing our basement When we looked at having our basement finished, we reviewed many contractors Having that sense of comfort from a person was very important to us as we were trusting them with our home.
The minute Ted came in and we started to talk, he gave us that exact feeling.
The quality of his work is fantastic - and better still, his ability to look at things from our point of view, and suggest improvements that really are about improving the design, and not about increasing the quote.
He was not only on time, and accurate with his quote - he and his crew were brilliant.
Each day we came home from work the work area was cleaned up (a very nice touch).
We look forward to calling him for our next project.

Bathroom build and reno.

Bathroom build and renovation Ted did a complete bathroom build on the lower level of my home (custom shower) and redid the tiles and bathtub upstairs.
Ted is a knowledgeable contractor who is a joy to work with. Always on time, worked all day and cleaned up.
The workmanship was exceptional. Beautifully finished walls, tiles, lighting etc.

I would not only highly recommend Ted King, I would also use him for any other renovation.
