The project went very smoothly from start to finish. We selected modern composite materials for the new veranda, which look great and will provide years of maintenance-free service. Miro and Steve were great to deal with and the quality of the work is top-notch. I would definitely hire Royal Decks for other projects.

When you search for a company to design and build your deck, you are buying the sales guy, and generally not the guy who builds your deck. In this case, even though they were different people, they shared the same attributes. Miro was an excellent salesman. He listened to our concerns, took our ideas and through multiple revisions had the same pleasing demeanor in trying to find a solution that made us happy. We were extremely impressed with his quality, patience and understanding. Steve was the builder, and through his professionalism, on the fly suggestions for minor modifications that would help the overall look and design of the deck, along with his humour, just about made him family. I would watch the effort Steve put into building the deck and could not imagine anyone more detail focused on every aspect of the job, and now could not imagine anyone else having built our deck. The quality and workmanship is impressive to me and we are very thrilled with the entire experience with Royal Decks. I’m confident our deck with outlast our house. After disappointing results from other home renovation projects we have done, this is something wonderful to review. Thanks you Miro and Steve...and Miro, you should make it 3 cases!

What a great deck. I did some research, selected a few deck companies to get quotes from, and met with them all. None were selected. They just didn't feel right. Then I found Royal Decks. They were the first company that we felt comfortable with. Price was secondary in making our decision. Feeling good about the company was primary. That's why we chose Royal Decks. Once it came time to start the deck, we met the crew, Jesse and Everret. What a couple of nice guys. They were both very polite, very accomodating and cleaned everything up at the end of the day, each and every day. No mess was ever left. They didn't even seem to mind me coming out every once in a while to how they were doing. Once they started, we were glad that it was these two men that were sent to do the job. Jesse's attention to detail was way beyond anything that I had expected. The quality of his workmanship is amazing. Not a detail was missed, not a shortcut was taken. All of his cuts and angles were perfect. Every piece of wood lined up perfectly. Nothing was out. No mistakes were made. They built our deck is so solidly, that if we had tornado's here, I am quite confident that the deck would still be standing, without a house attached to it! If we ever move and decide to have a deck built again, I will hunt these two down, no matter which company they are with, to have them build it. That's how good they are! Miro designed and built our deck. We were very impressed with his work ethic. His work crew endured some pretty cold weather in December they were amazing and we were overjoyed with the end result. Miro at Royal Decks is very good at keeping in contact with customers. He provided us with a free complete written proposal for what we wanted, including a 3D rendering of the project. His quote was the lowest of 3 quotes we obtained. The project was completed in the timeframe promised (except for a weather delay) and it cost exactly what we were originally quoted. Miro is professional and polite and does the job right. It was very easy working with him. We are very happy with our deck and would recommend him to anybody.

I found Royal Decks on line in my desperate search for a company to build a quality deck. I was pleasantly surprised when Miro actually called me back. I had been playing telephone tag with various other companies, and also disappointed with "no show free estimates. Miro showed up exactly when we arranged, was prepared with equipment necessary to measure etc. He listened to my concept and presented it to me in a 3-D drawing within a day of meeting. When the plan was ready to go, we had some delays with the City re permits, but Miro accommodated these delays without a problem. When we were finally ready to go, everything went smoothly with inspections passing easily and without issue.
