    Robby did an excellent job.

    Upholstery I originally got Robby's name from this Home Stars website and I'm glad that I did. Robby was very helpful selecting fabric for my two old armchairs - he has a good eye for colour/style. As he did such an excellent job on the armchairs, I also had him build a custom ottoman and I'm also very pleased with that. I've received many compliments from family/friends. Robby is very personable and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

    Robby was great

    family room chairs Robby did a great job on two family room chairs. Came to the house three times with fabric samples. He did a great job on refinishing the cane frame. Real nice workmanship on the fabric. Exceptionally priced as well. Very pleasant and professional.

    The chairs look like new!

    2 living room chairs I had 2 living room chairs that were 19 years old. Robby recovered the fabric and re-stained the wood. His turn around time was quick - 2 weeks - and he did a great job. The price was very competitive and I would not hesitate using him again!

    Excellent customer service and workmanship

    Re-upholstery of 2 armchairs We purchased a pair of 60-year old armchairs and wanted them re-upholstered by someone who could appreciate their value and elegance. Robby took the time to come to our home and suggest various fabrics, keeping in mind the shape of the chairs (steering us clear of fabrics that would take away from the elegant lines of our chairs). The end result is fabulous!!

    no more sagging sofa

    sofa upholstery We were ready to throw out our 15 year old leather sofa set, whose sagging cushions were killing my back and knees.
    We also had a new suede covered dining chair set which I was already regretting buying as it was getting ruined with cat fur and dust. The chairs were also low, making it uncomfortable to sit at the table.
    Robby came in and fixed everything. He put new, denser foam into the sofa, and installed higher legs, making it more ergonomic to sit on. He also recovered the kitchen chairs with leather (so no more cat fur sticking to the suede) and installed thicker chair cushions so the table comes up to my waist, not my chest anymore..and I dont feel like I need a booster seat.

    Its been a pleasure working with Robby. He is a fine craftsman who really knows his trade. Plus re-upholstering is a really wise investment in fixing the furniture that we use everyday instead of buying a pricey new leather sofa set..not to mention that repairing existing furniture keeps it out of the landfill and is the green thing to do.

    Excellent upholsterer

    Built ottoman, reupholstered and refinished chairs Robby reupholstered and refinished a pair of antique cane-back armchairs for us and also made back cushions to match the seats. He also built from scratch a gorgeous, large ottoman which we use as a coffee table, customized to my description exactly. He was extremely polite and professional, and an excellent craftsman. He even picked up and delivered our furniture in the evenings because we work full time and don't live near his shop. I plan to use him again and would recommend him highly.
