View Member ProfileHad granite and marble put into our kitchen and bathroom. Liked being able to go into the warehouse to see the slabs. Installation was flawless. Clean, quick and the workers were very polite. Customer service issues with miscommunication between employees regarding choices, measurements and options though. We love the end product though, which is the most important thing. Would go back.

L in East yorkProstone had an amazing selection of granite. Most importantly they were the only ones to affordably carry the rare Wasabi Green Italian granite that I ultimately chose. Great service, very patient with my questions. The owner was fantastic also. No problem when I changed my renovation design after the original measurements had been taken. DId their best to meet my deadline after the change in measurement during the busy season. I'd highly recommend them for gorgous granite in a kitchen or bath. Everyone who sees the unusual green granite with wonderful markings is impressed.

Granite Counter Top Installation
Ant in Richmond hillAfter shopping around for a dark granite for my new kitchen countertop my wife and I decided to go with Pro Stone as they have the best 3-inch stone selection in town and their stone is of the best quality and characterisics (color shade, vien etc) for granite that we love. The salesperson provided valuable opinions from stone selection to installation, and the installation coordinator is courteous and pleasant to work with. There is just are few things that need to be follow up on but so far the after-sale service has been good. I'll recommend my friends to Pro Stone. I will keep you all updated on how the remaining issues are followed up. Stay tuned.

They always had time to talk to me (even though this was not a big project for them) and every question/concern was addressed courteously. I always made to feel welcome: right for the visit of the premise, to the help in choosing the best product (and staying within my budget),, to the service and assistance in finalizing the plans by Girish, to the prompt installation by a very professional team! The fact that my home is approximately 1 1/2 hour from Toronto was not even a problem! Everything has been handled quickly and efficiently. PRO STONE CAME THROUGH ..... FINALLY
Alan in ScarboroughMY REVISED REVIEW: My original review, was, I believe, honest. Circumstances have changed and this revised review reflects those changes. --- I elected to go with Pro Stone for a granite counter because of the glowing Homestars reviews and because Pro Stone's office is in East Toronto, close to my home. The salesman and my point of contact was Girish. Pro Stone's staff was friendly and helpful. The process was timely, and Pro Stone was everything people said until a problem which showed after the install. --- I did provide my own sink (stainless steel/undermount) to Girish together with a full size template for the cutout and a dimensioned scale drawing of the sink. --- On install day (NOV 2) the two installers (Pro Stone sub-contractors) were pleasant and polite. They quickly installed the counter, cleaned up, and left. 1 hour and 15 minutes from start to finish. --- The counter looked great – until closer inspection. That inspection revealed that the sink opening in the granite counter was not cut accurately, and the granite overhung the undermount sink reveal in a couple of places - by about 3/8”. For me, this ruined the overall appearance and left places for dirt to collect. . It would seemed that no one at Pro Stone had checked my sink or template against the counter during fabrication. It is not major work to resolve this defect. It just requires a grinding and re-polishing of the stone at the two spots to achieve the correct profile. It probably could have been fixed in a few minutes at Pro Stone's shop and in around an hour at my house - by a qualified person. --- I called Girish the same day (NOV. 2) and told him about the sink cutout problem and then the issue dragged on (replete with phone conversations, emails to Girish and Bal, and site visits by Pro Stone personnel) until NOV 21 when Pro Stone finally had 2 craftsmen come to my house and fix the issue to my complete satisfaction. The craftsmen did an immaculate job. --- In Summary: I was without the proper use of my kitchen for 18 days which did not please me. I fully understand that problems can occur but I think that Pro Stone could have been a lot more timely in resolving this issue. Timely resolution would have made this a 10 star review. --- HAVING SAID THAT, MY RE-WORKED COUNTER NOW LOOKS GREAT!

Kitchen Granite Counter Top Install
Paul McIntosh in ScarboroughHad heard good stories about Prostone and they were very well priced so we opted to use them for our Kitchen Counter top install. Our Sales associate was Girish, and while we weren't overly happy with the entire sales process we felt it was worth it in order to get a quality counter top at a good price. Installers were on time, friendly and efficient and the counter top looked great upon first inspection. After allowing it to sit for the required amount of time I cleaned the surface only to find a small crack around the sink area. I immediately called Prostone who at first was not at all interested in hearing what I had to say and without actually looking at it told me there was nothing wrong. It was only once Prostone realized that they had not taken the second payment supposed to be paid the day before and that they were not getting paid until it was resolved did they begin to take itnerest in my issue. At that point in time the manager Bal came to my house and told me that it was not a big deal and he'd send someone to fill and polish it out. A couple days later a repair person arrived to remedy the issue, but once he was done the crack was still noticable, it had just been filled some what to match the colour. I once again told Girish and Bal that i was not satisfied with the result and wanted to know what they were willing to do to remedy the issue. I was told that in order for them to even consider discussing how to fix the issue I had to make the final payment or they were not discussing it. I once again told them that I would not be paying until I recieved a counter top that was not cracked at which point the stopped answering my attempts at contact and simply sent the outstanding balance to a credit agency. Seems Prostone is great up until the point that there is a problem at which point they just want their money and do not seem to care what your issue is. Edit: Was Finally able to get a resolution after posting the initial review. Prostone saw the review and was not at all happy with it and agreed that if I removed the review they would give me a new counter. That being said I removed the review and set up a date to have the new counter installed. The day before when I'd normally expect to receive a call to confirm the appointment I received nothing so I called in to find out what the situation was and spoke to Girish. Girish had no answers other then the counter had yet to be cut and asked if they could install it after Christmas. Again appears they were more concerned with getting new business rather then fixing the issues of their current customers. I was finally able to get a new appointment and the the installers showed up on time and were very good again at removing the cracked counter and putting in a new one. I guess the long and short of the story is that Homestars really works well and that I'd be a little hesitant to take the rating for Prostone at face value as it appears that they will buy your silence. Rating was originally a 2 but has been updated to a 5 as the counter looks great and the price was right, but the process and sales team was far less then desirable.

Kitchen countertops
K in Queen WestProstone installed the countertops in my parents' kitchen and washroom and did a great job. So, when it came time to renovate our kitchen, Prostone was one of the first places we visited. We were pleased with the selection and the professional service from Girish. Measurements were taken by another very friendly staff person and in exactly 10 business days, our countertops were installed. We are very pleased with the result, the price we paid and would not hesitate to recommend Prostone to others.

Granite Countertop
Mrs. QureshiWe bought granite countertops from Pro Stone for both our kitchen and bathroom. The selection of stone was great and the staff where knowledgeable about their product.We dealt with Girish and he was very helpful! The installers did a great job in the kitchen. We did some shopping around and found the prices at Pro Stone were competitive. We would go back there again.

Kitchen counter
Maria Chan in North yorkMy counter is finally in and it looks really beautiful the pattern on the stone is unique. The guys at office was very helpful Ghrisham and Haran and Anna was always very pleasant and most helpful. The guys installing were professional and did the job very quickly. I am very happy with the job done and would recommend them highly.
