I am so glad to meet Nanique today and she is really helpful for me.She explains design rules and help me to choose colours, furniture, pictures, carpet, curtains, lighting,,,, and how to hang up,,,not only She let me know some design rules, but also she make me feel confident to decorate my house. If my friends need help, I will suggest them to see Nanique as she is an excellent interiors.

This project is the first one where we decided to engage an interior designer. I am very pleased that we did and happy that it was Nanette. Nanette helped us to select vanities, lights, tiles and wall colors. Her insight was invaluable. The tile accents and combination of colors that she suggested was something that I would never been able to come up on my own. On a personal level, Nanette is very pleasant to work with. She is patient and good listener. I felt that she genuinely cares that we will be satisfied with our choices. She kept repeating "I love it! That's what I want to hear from you." Nanette also explained the guiding principles behind her choices, so I am sure with this knowledge I will be able to make better interior design choice in the future. Last but not least, Nanette knows where to buy stuff. She recommended stores with excellent selection, very good prices and great customer service.

Nanette helped my husband and I in furnishing our condo when we moved in this spring. Her advice regarding furniture, paint colours, and lighting was invaluable. Her knowledge and insight as well as her passion was very inspiring and reassuring. Nanette is always quick to respond to any emails and questions that we had throughout the process. The best part was that she was able to guide us and keep us within our budget. We have received so many compliments about our condo! We are now working with Nanette on decorating the nursery.

We had a unique problem in athat after living overseas in Abu Dhabi for over 17 years, we decided to return to Toronto and renovate our townhouse prior to our arrival. Having lived overseas for a protracted period, we had no idea of the options open to us, products and quality available or the look and feel of materials - most of which can only truly be appreciated in person. Nanette and her contractor, Peter Lum of Balmoral Contractors, set about the coordination and project development with enthusiasm, verve and professionalism and when we inspected the finished product, they had got it just right. The minor snags were quickly and efficiently corrected. My profession is a Program Leader of Mega Projects and I can assure you it takes a very special skill to coordinate activites remotely, understand client's needs and in this case, tastes as well. With assistance of Skype and the like, we managed to review options, negotiate prices and the net result was a top notch product. Nanette has a unique talent and taste sense in that she can knit together the various individual components of a project into a lovely final tapestry. By way of a further endorsement several of my engineer and architect friends, who have all recently completed their own renovations with varying degrees of hands-on involvement, all commented that this was one of the best products they had seen. I contacted Nanette due to the great reviews she received on Homestars - so far with this site, I have used many contractors - painting, carpet cleaning, moving - and have very positive experiences. Unfortunately with Nanique, it was not so positive. Maybe I was expecting something different, but after spending an hour and a half at my house, and paying her $180 for her time, all I ended up with was a price quote for over $5,000 to decorate my living room - let me clarify this, over $5,000 for her to just pick our colours and help me find furniture - I still had to buy the furniture and pay for the painting, the light installations, etc. My living room is 14' x 16'. I had expected something different - at least a schematic with suggestions and paint colours. I was very surprised to get such a price quote. Maybe I am cheap?

Nanique was extremely professional: provided excellent color co-ordination and ideas to refresh an old office space.Lighting suggested has changed the whole atmosphere of the space.Money is well worth spent.I would definitely recommand her mighty service. For sure will hire her again in the future. By the way she has also done my daughter's new house finishing ,we both are extremely happy about her work !!! N.L

We have worked with Nanette on multiple projects over the last two years - she helped us renovate and decorate our sunroom, living room/dining room and main bathroom. Nanette has been wonderful to work with - she has a fabulous eye for colour and quickly understood our "style" and worked with it. We have a young child and Nanette also had great recommendations for "child-friendly" furniture pieces. We are delighted with all the work she has done and the contractors she recommended - Peter/Josh and Melena - were second to none. They all did a wonderful job, on time, and within budget and took care to complete all of the details well. We could not be more happy with our experience with Nanette and recommend her work highly.

Nanette came in to help me with colours for the house i moved into a little while ago. She knows her stuff, and was able to teach me a lot about how different colours work. I am a guy, so i automatically just think everything dark works. Nanette brought me out of my comfort zone and offered some great choices. The painters just left today, and the house looks amazing.
