We worked with Nanette on 2 occasions. First to help us with initial planning of our renovation and then for paint colour selection. We are thrilled with her work! Her experience and confidence put us at ease that we would love the final result, which is exactly what we needed, after being confused with too many other opinions. The night before our colour consultation, we had discussed that we wanted to go with beiges and very light colours to be "safe". Well the next day when we met with Nanette, we realized none of our design decisions so far were safe, so she convinced us to match our style and love for colour and go bolder with paint. Everyone is amazed at how beautiful everything turned out; even those that though we were crazy. The paint colours have transformed a nice renovation into an incredible renovation. I would highly recommend Nanette for help planning the design of a renovation, selecting finishes, or picking paint colours.

We recently rehired Nanette to help us design and source a custom sectional sofa bed. Nanette suggested Grand Duke's upholstery. She and Vince from Grand Duke's created the perfect sofa for our very challenging needs (including getting it down a set of stairs only 25" wide!). We were amazed that the sofa was completed in only 2 weeks and we're thrilled with the final product. It is very solid and the craftsmanship is readily apparent. It is also extremely comfortable and looks great. Both Nanette and Vince were a pleasure to work with - and it's made the area our new favourite room! Thanks again to you both.

Nanette and I have just finished the first phase in renovations to my condo and I am very happy with the results so far. Nanette was amazing to work with. She helped me put everything together, for two bathroom renovations! She was very helpful, from choosing tiles, paint colour, bathroom fixtures from tub, vanities, toilets, shower system, faucets, etc. everything basically! The entire look came together very well, and turned out exactly how i imagined it too! Beautiful!!! She knows exactly where to take you to purchase all the items, making it that much easier and less stressful! She also knows amazing people in the stores, whom give you that special attention/help needed which again is really helpful through the long process of renovations! Overall nanette is amazing, very friendly and easy to get a long with, and is willing to help you out as much as possible!!! I would recommend her to anyone for any sort of renovation needs, or any sort of interior decorating help.

I sincerely enjoyed working with Nanette. From the very beginning our communication and relationship have been excellent, and she made me feel very comfortable. She's very passionate about her work, and like me, a perfectionist as well. Those are two qualities I always look for in a contractor, and definitely two qualities that she possesses. I had just purchased a condominium unit and wanted to have it renovated. More than the renovation itself I was interested in how the process works with in an interior designer. I guess I kinda just wanted the experience in working with one (despite how busy my work schedule is otherwise). Nanette doesn't know this but I actually consulted with an interior decorator and an interior designer prior to establishing a relationship with her. Both individuals were awesome and knew their stuff, but I still felt like it was necessary that I go with one of the top professionals in the city. When I stumbled upon her profile, and read her highly acclaimed user reviews (and the fact that she's won HomeStars the past couple of years) - and then called her up and met with her the first time, I knew she was the right person for me. I knew from her positive demeanor the process would be streamlined and easy-going. And, it was. Thank you, Nanette. I look forward to working with you on any future projects. Nanette helped us choose paint colours and select furniture for our new home. She was pleasant, responsive and practical -- helped us be realistic about what we'd need with three young kids. Great sense of colour and taught us some helpful design tips! She was always on time and in touch and followed up with all she said she would. She was also patient with our dawdling and indeciveness. With the exception of more stray threads than we'd like and one detached button (!), we've been happy with the furniture we chose from her suppliers. Prices for the services were higher than we've seen elsewhere, but Nanette was reasonable about helping us make a plan that would be less costly. Felt we were in good hands and would (plan to!) work with Nanette again when we have a budget to do so.
