So many damages with this company, and still no resolution or compensation after 3 months, despite numerous calls. Broken furniture, pictures, mirrors, lawn mower and more. The contract stated mattresses and large items would be wrapped, they weren't. Boxes were clearly marked where they had to be taken,and many were to be left in the garage as we were going to renovate our basement. When we couldn't find things, we searched through the boxes in the garage and my husband and I (both in our late 50's) had to carry 28 of them up 2 flights of stairs. Extremely dissatisfied as the company has ignored our requests for compensation. I'm now going to the BBB to see if they can help.

January 12, 2011 Moveworks Inc. arrived at my Bay Street address with a very polite & courteous, three (3) man crew, to move me to my new residence in Forest Hill. Just my luck (!!!), there was a very heavy snow storm the night before...and it continued snowing that morning of the move. Due to the weather conditions, they were a little late (which was to be expected) and Ann Thornton (with Moveworks) phoned to advise me that her team was on their way. The crew were amazing and so very helpful and were very careful with all my antiques and person belongings. This is my second move with Moveworks Inc., and I would most definitely hire Moveworks Inc. again! Thank you for a great,stress-free relocation, to my new abode! Sincerely, Randy Christensen

I have been very interested to see many experiences with Moveworks similar to my own posted here. Michael, the president of the company came by to do an estimate and seemed like a nice enough guy and very thorough in his examination. He gave us guarantees and told us the services his movers would provide (“They will set your bed up for you that night!”). When they arrived for our move we found out that he did not have his “own movers” he just contracts out to other companies. When the movers saw how much stuff we had they knew the truck was too small and they wouldn’t be able to move the entire place without help. Luckily I ignored Michael’s advice and asked some friends to come over and help or our 12 hour move would have taken “16 to 18 hours” the truck driver told us. The movers tried their best but the truck was WAY too small and now I will be forced to rent a U-Haul, drive two hours and pick up all the stuff left over. Please, if you are moving DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Everything he told us was not true, everything! The three movers worked their ass off but they didn’t work for him, in fact they didn’t seem to like him much either. Estimates that didn’t mean anything, improper equipment and all these “extras” that are not included PLUS you can never get anyone on the phone! Please don’t make the same mistake my family did.

My experience with moveworks was great. They did everything I asked for and more. The men were great. Very polite and professional. Overall a great move and a great service. I highly recommend moveworks for anyone who wants to move.

Ben came to provide us with a quote...seemed nice, Canadian company ...I was sold (I like using local ppl). The day of the move they showed up on time to move our 750sq 1bdr....we had already moved the kitchen and we did not have a table or chairs so there was VERY little to move..the van was WAY to small and I mentioned it over an over and even called Ann...Sam was rude and scary and confronted me asking why I called his boss...they ruined our brand new $3000 table from Kuda and over charged us to hold 3 wardrobe boxes for 2 days..they still have our $80 deposit on the boxes and WILL not call us back to deal with our table and give us our money...I am writing this review so I can get our money back and they can give us the money to fix our table....its insane that I am forced to write a review so they call us back....

Moveworks made my move easy. They were very professional and extremely helpful. The men were very nice and were very careful while handling my furniture. I am very happy with their service and highly recommend them.

This company was great and very respectful of all my belongings. I loved the way they handled themselves in a very professional way and were always working at a great pace. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is moving and looking to have it done through a moving company.

I had made 3 moves in the past 2 years. Sick and tired of moving with friends and myself, I decided to call upon a moving company. The estimate I was guaranteed (I felt good that is was in writing). I have a lot studio equipment that was transported to my new residence safely. No more moving with my buddies, it will be moveworks. Thanks.

We had a downsize from a large home to a condo and packing and packing was not an option at our age. Some stuff when right to good will and they dropped it off for us and they had to label and sort the condo stuff and what just wasn`t going anywhere. I don`t think we would have been a ble to do this move with anyone else. It`s just too much for our age and I want to thank them for seeing us through this life change.

Our family moved from a condo into a larger family home. We had contacted several movers but found Moveworks most reasonably priced and they were more knowledable and made more sense when they answered our questions about how many trucks, size of trucks and other logistics. They provided wardrobes for all our closet belongins and everything was wrapped and handled with care. Thank you for the great service and a stress free move. Sally.
