This is a review on a custom sofa from Modern Home Design on 21 Trojan Gate in Scarborough. First off the customer service is really good. The owner was able to walk us through their large showroom. We went to many places in Toronto, including EQ3, Upcountry, Decorium, mobilia and they didnt have the style of sofa we were looking for (for a medium size condo). All I can say Modern Home saved us a lot of time since they custom make furniture on our specs. They have many styles, upholsery, even legs to choose from. Their manufacturing facilities is on the premise (in their large building). Their prices are comparable to what you would pay for at EQ3, mobilia, etc.
Delivery is about 6 weeks since it is a custom order, which is quite reasonable consider that most retailers require the same amount of time too (unless they have one in storage at a specific style)
