This is the second project we have used Mega City Roofing for. As with our first roofing project (which was a separate part of the house), Tom is a pleasure to deal with. He is reponsive to requests, he is timely, the crew cleans up after they finish and the work is great. I highly recommend.

Mega is the best. I am glad I found his company on the internet and saw the review. When I first looked around for re-roofing my house, I found there were many out there and have no idea who I can trust. Beside the price, you also have to look for reliability and good workmanship. After reading Mega's review on Homestars, I have no more doubt. Tom conducts his business with honesty and integrity. He delivered what he promised. You can trust Tom. Homestars is the best as well.

It was a friday evening and I had just completed extensive renovation work in advance of putting my house on the market for the next week. Suddenly I heard the drip drip drip of water in the newly remodelled kitchen! Disaster! With all the rain we'd been having, the roof was leaking. I had no idea what I was going to do! However, one call to Tom Geo at MegaCity roofing and the solution had begun. Tom arrived first thing in the morning and by mid-day on Monday, my roof had been reshingled! Tom and his crew were courteous and professional, the work was excellent and the clean up made the place look as if nothing had taken place. I would highly recommend Mega City roofing! From start to finish a great experience by a team that cares about quality. Mega City is clearly successful because they provide exceptional service at a fair price, but most importantly because Tom cares about your satisfaction. We had our roof stripped and re-shingled, Tom and his team arrived on-time, were professional, accommodating, and courteous. Due to problems with the weather earlier in the month, we also had to schedule rebuilding our chimney on the same day. Having two different companies on the roof at the same time could have been a problem, but Tom and his team made it easy. Because the chimney would not be completed before the roof, Tom offered to come back in two days and finish the flashing on the chimney, and do a final inspection. Two days later Tom was on the roof to finish the job, as promised, no hassle. Tom clearly takes pride in his company, and there wasn't any aspect of the job he did not care about doing right, or making right afterwards. Mega City did an excellent job, I would without hesitation, and have already, recommended Tom and his team to neighbors and friends. The only downside to the whole experience is I won't need to call them again for 25 years ;-) Thanks Tom John C.

Working with Mega City roofing was an excellent experience. The flat roof over our sunroom was leaking into our kitchen, which was very stressful. Tom came by the house, assessed the problem, and gave me a quote - which he stuck to. He and his crew came on time and finished early. They were friendly, and did a great job of cleaning up. The work is superb, and he called the next day (after a heavy rain) to check in. I'd strongly recommend Mega City Roofing to anyone.

We needed to have our roof replaced as it was past its useful life as one can tell from the pictures. I had 4 or 5 companies come and provide an estimate. We had offers ranging from extremely low priced to ridiculously expensive. I cannot stress enough how important it is for one to do his homework BEFORE talking to contractors ! Do your research not only on the companies but also on the roofing process itself - what's involved, the most important terms and what they mean, materials used and the difference in quality etc. There is plenty of information on the web and you don't need to become a roofing expert but 3-4 hours of research will pay for itself many times over. The reason is that you must understand at least the basics of roofing so that when the estimators come you will understand what they are telling you and have an idea of what to expect. In short, here is why we went to Tom and his company MegaCity Roofing: - MegaCity responded to our request for a quote very promptly - Tom was very thorough in explaining every detail of the job and the different options we have with their advantages and disadvantages - He manages his own crew and no sub-contractors are used - MegaCity is registered with BBB with good standing - they have a very high rating on homestars.com - the important part here is that the ratings go back several years and are consistently good - the price was reasonable - we were not looking for the cheapest option anyway and were ready to pay a bit more for quality work (within reason) given the importance of the work We were not disappointed. Pretty much everything went as planned. - the work started on schedule - the crew was skilled and professional - we had two previous layers of shingles that had to be removed - so lots of waste came from the roof but the site was well prepared for the job - the clean-up job was outstanding - I found only 2-3 nails after the finish and they had fallen between the cracks of our back yard patio - Tom followed up to make sure that everything was fine a few days after completing the work. Great job and we would not hesitate to recommend this company to other people!

I was an easy sale, as i was going to get a new roof regardless. Nevertheless Tom was a very good to work with and he carried himself professionally. He returned calls very quickly and given the susceptibility to weather roofers are forced to work around, Tom/Megacity accommodated my schedule as best he could. And after the job was complete, he even got an eaves trough guy he knows to do some quick eaves work for me at a excellent price. I have an old house, with several layers of shingles, including the original cedar shingles and the MegaCity crew started and finished in just one day. They cleaned up very well too. I was disappointed in that i feel i had some work done that probably did not need to be done. I could complain a lot more about that - but at the end of the day, as long as the work that was done was done right. I'm not a roofer, but as far as i can tell, they did a fantastic job.
