The company “Mayday,” which is really Roy, was extremely cooperative as to scheduling the appointment which was the same day, punctual, knowledgeable, courteous and I was very satisfied with the work, which potentially saved me thousands of dollars. I would hire the company every five years or so to check my drains with his special video camera snake from the house to the main drains. He found mine partially plugged, snaked them and I have the video he left for showing the drains before and after snaking. The whole job only took two hours and was very reasonably priced. I now have the “dirty” video as a baseline for my drain system when examining them in the future.

After spending money on another service to fix the same problem. Roy from Mayday really saved the day when he came out. I wish I knew about him before I called a well know company from the Yellow Pages. Turns out the other reputable company also gave me the wrong information on what the problem was. I will recommend Roy and Mayday Drain Services to anyone who needs help.

We had this sewage problem and called out of the yellow pages a router specialist and they came and cleared the drain and for this they charged me $745.45, and they said that they would include a video inspection free, unless more work may be needed. Of course there were roots in the drain and they said that they had to charge #617.13 for the video as they needed to come back to locate the problem and dig it up to repair and that would cost $7000.00 approx. The next day I called the city of Markham thinking maybee the town would be responsible, and of course it is our responsibility. The gentleman from Markham did state that is sounds like it would be our responsibility but would need to send Roy from Mayday Services to check for sure and he said it would cost about $150.00 to check, and I agreed. About 1/2 hour later Roy was at my house and I showed him the problem and he started his thing. First he used the video to check what is going on and found roots in the line but the line itself was in good shape. He then put the worm into the drain with this cutter assembly at the end and in about 15 minutes the 3 foot root was on the basement floor and all is well. Then Roy gives me the bill and I am afraid to look, but to my surprise it was under $300.00. Roy was a gentleman who knew his trade, and more important he knows how to treat people with respect. I would call or recommend Roy and Mayday Drain Services any time

Mayday Drain Services provided excellent service overall. It was a busy christmas and Roy, the service technician came at a timely manner to help solve our drainage problem. We had a drainage issue and our basement was getting flooded. He not only fixed the problem but he also gave us a detailed explanation as to what the problem was and how to prevent it from happening again. Because of such great service, if we were to ever have such problem again, we would look to no other for help but Mayday drain services.

I called Roy of Mayday Drain Services at 10am on Friday, Dec 22, 2006 to clear a blocked kitchen sink after trying out everything HOME DEPOT had to offer. In a matter of 2 hours he was at our doorstep and it took him only 15 minutes to clear the stoppage. He even let me mail the payment check later as I was at work. Great timely service and reasonable price.

We had a lot on the schedule for Christmas Eve, and it did NOT include getting a backed up sewer. The Town of Markham advised us to call Roy of Mayday Drain Services to get the drain unplugged. He arrived within 45 minutes...(remember this is Christmas Eve)...and he offered advice about cleaning and managing the mess as well as dealing with the insurance company. He power-snaked the pipe, located the root cause of the backup (no pun intended), and then recommended that we power snake again with a larger size to ensure that root blockage didn't occur again during the holiday season. His advice on what/why/how will keep us from repeating this holiday nightmare. While I don't want to relive this situation, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Roy and Mayday again.

I was referred to Mayday Drains by a friend of mine. We had a camera inspection of our new home before the warranty was up. We found a problem at the property line and our builders excavated it.
