Roy is very knowledgable, professional and pleasant and I would highly recommend him to a friend. He arrived on time, was thorough and efficient, and provided very good advice to solve my drainage issues. Thanks to Roy's thorough inspection, step by step explanation of his observations and thoughtful answers to my questions, I now have a good understanding of the location and condition of my sewer drain, all the way to the City sewer, as well as a sound plan to repair and maintain it. Roy was pleasant and polite, showed up ahead of time and did his job thoroughly and quickly. It was pretty much the perfect service experience. The fact that he laughed at a couple of my jokes was a bonus.

My main drain in the laundry room flooded as I was washing my laundry. I went online to find companies that dealt with this. I called around and got prices that were exorbinate. I found MayDay Drains and called. Roy was extremely helpful and personable. He was trying to help me over the phone even. He also quoted me a price over the phone (the other companies either refused to do so or it was a fight to get one) When he came, he was totally professional. He explained what he was going to do and showed me the CCTV camera of the blockage. He cleaned out the blockage and told me how to maintain it. I highly recommend Roy! There is no better deal in town for this sort of problem.

My sewer backed up to the laundry room floor. I called one of the "Rooter" companies. They charged me $320 just to camera inspect. They said roots were getting into the clay pipes and I needed everything dug up to replace all the pipes. Second option was to dig only one area and install a liner. Option one was $12K. Option two was $7.5K Next day (Saturday) I called Roy at 8AM. He was here in an hour (I live in Mississauga) he chraged me less than what they charged for camera inspection and heres what he did. Camera inspect, snake and chop up all roots and final camera inspect all the way to the city sewer. He said if I did this every 2-3 years I wouldnt need costly digging. What agreat guy and great service! I highly reccomend him

Our drain smelled bad all the time. Roy came and did a full camera inspection to the street. He quickly diagnosed the problem and answered all of our questions. He also explained how our drains were mapped in our 60 year old house. He provided an easy solution and cleared the problem with a snake. I would recommend Roy for drain work.

As it is now the homeowners responsibility to make sure drains are free from city tree roots, I called MayDay because they were recommended by my neighbor. He was very quick to respond and his work was professional, thorough and reasonably priced! I would absolutely recommend MayDay to anyone!

I needed a drain clean-out and sewage was backing up into the basement. Roy was courteous and friendly on the phone and seemed to care about my issue. He came out and used a video snake to show me the problem - other companies wanted over $400 dollars for the same service. He took the time to explain the whole situation and got a crew in that fixed the larger issue at roughly half the cost of other estimates. Not only that, they were friendly, efficient and explained to me the entire situation every step of the way! Great Stuff!

In Dec 2011, our walkin shower in the basement gradually started retaining water that several blasts of 1 second plumber couldn't clear. Checked Homestars for help and picked Mayday from among several highly rated drain services. Spoke with Roy and he was very flexible in working with my calendar and his other jobs to come by to assess the situation within 24 hours. Really appreciated that Roy talked through the problem & likely solutions on the phone. In person, Roy assessed the structure and problem quickly, and fixed it (thorough snaking) and cleaned up. Very professional and kept me informed.

Initially Roy talked me through a solution over the phone that cleared the problem somewhat but not totally. He therefore came and looked at the drain, suggested an easy, inexpensive and permanent solution that rectified the problem. If I could give a 10+ rating I would.
