Hired Loctite and paid a deposit.They arrived dug up my backyard and dumped a load of sand and stone in its place and have not returned for 4 weeks.They don't return phone calls. A friend recommended them to me but I would not recommend them to anyone. Loctite arrived yesterday with all their equipment and returned at 7am today with a big crew of workers. It is now 4pm and the job is almost complete and exceeds all of our expectations. It looks fantastic and the quality of their craftsmanship is excellent as well as their value for money. They have not cut any corners but rather gone the extra mile to do a great job. Their staff are fantastic and despite my initial misgivings I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone. Well done and thank you Loctite Interlocking.

I first met Gregg Nugent apporximately 12 years ago, he did interlocking for us which remains today beautiful. Over the past years we called him several years in a row to expand what was done initially. Always the work was done to perfection. He has also completed our daughters home and several friends; everyone is happy with his work. The only complaints was the time frame; which was hard for my daughter especially as the weather was bad which held up the work. When one enters into landscaping or interlocking they must remember that every contractor out there has to deal with the weather they cannot control weather. I trust Gregg Nugent and his company; we moved last fall and will once again hire Loc-Tite to do our extensive interlocking project. Like reviews for Travel Vacations one must take them with a grain of salt; my experience with Loc-Tite has always been a 10+; for example after 10 years this man came back with a couple of his workers and repaired some steps that had started to slant; no charge just a smile and a hand shake. Gregg does stand by his word; it is just our human nature to want things done yesterday; when we must remember we are not the only customer out there requesting his service from April to October. I for one am looking forward to seeing Gregg and his crew start our project and know that in the end we will be more than satisfied.

We are very disappointed with the workmanship of our walkway. It has been a nightmare getting Greg from Loc-Tite to rectify the problem with the laying of the bricks. When talking to Greg on the phone about when this will finally be done he informed us that he will phone us back. That never happened. This problem has been going on since August, 2011. We are very frustrated! We would not recommend this company due to our experience. It is now end of November, 2011 and problem has still not been dealt with. The supplier of the bricks came to our house to inspect the walkway and he told us that there is no problem with the brick, the problem is the way Loc-Tite laid the bricks.

As promised we came out to fix the problem on your front walk. I spoke on three occasions since then the first conversation we had you told me you would look at it call me back. I waited two weeks. I called you back. You told me you still have not had a chance to look so again you said you would call me back. I waited another two weeks and called you back you then told me you looked at it and you were happy with the work. Have used Gregg in the past on two other occaisions, last time was about 10 years ago for backyard patio and interlock along east side of house as well as little walk way in front. Held off doing the driveway until this past year. Work that was to be done was fix some window wells in back, remove stone in front and put along west side the house and the main project was the interlocking of the drive way and front walkway with large stones. Crew was lead by Ryan, they were there two days did a great job. The driveway looked great, have received many compliments on the work done. Only issue I had was when I turned on the sprinklers about 2 weeks after the work was done, noticed some water coming up from the front walkway. They had accidently cut a sprinlier line. Sent an email to Gregg, was told they would be there to fix that weekend and they came by and fixed it. Next day noticed that one of the stones had cracked from being tampered down, sent an note to Gregg, was told they would be there on the weekend and that weekend they came by to cut and replace the stone. As mentioned before the driveway looks great and Gregg, Ryan and his crew did a great job and were also great to deal with.

Gregg, his brother Ridge and the whole crew did a wonderful concrete job on our front and backyard. Gregg the owner is a very nice & genuine person who TRULY cares about his customers. I think most of the negative reviews they got on this website is largely because of the way the company operates, they are a little unorganized (and I told that to Gregg myself). But trust me, once they get the job started for you, they finish it in no time. And again, Gregg was a pleasure to deal with.

Editing my previous negative post... We got off on the wrong foot, with poor actually no communication from messages left as to start date. Surprisingly Greg called me on Tuesday mid-morning after many messages were left and told me he would be here Thursday (Oct 13) and he called me at 8:10am saying he was running 10 mins late and arrived on schedule with his full crew and equipment ready to excavate. So day 1 almost completed and my concrete pad is poured for my hot tub, backyard is excavated and screening set. Gregg and his workers are very efficient and friendly, not to mention hard working. Further updates to follow and the ratings will be adjusted accordingly. However at this pace the project will be completed in no time! A little communication goes a long way. We are homeowners with a very lovely home in a prestigious area. Our story concurs with most of the reviews giving a 4.0 rating or less. We have had similar and somewhat horrendous experiences. Gregg N's work on this home needs repairs and adjustments and we would prefer to be here when they are done. Gregg has not shown himself willing to fully repair the actual problems ... this homeowner is physically blind/disabled and put trust in Gregg and his crew, and salespersons (eg. Foti etc.) We are disappointed and waiting for Gregg to repair the various problem areas correctly. We thought he was with the BBB (it was on his brochure but has since been removed - we have an original brochure and also one now without the BBB designation, recently distributed by him). We consider this problem to be very serious and are waiting for him to make amends to this disabled and trusting homeowner. If we cannot obtain satisfaction, we may be forced to seek further recourses. He was paid in cash, mentioned that he was not charging tax - we trusted him and now feel obligated first to go to the newspapers and to have them do a photo op and story on this home which has been somewhat disfigured by poor workmanship. Hoping Gregg (the Loctite Co. owner) will respond. He came out once, spent one half hour or so and did not do the full repairs. Recently he sent someone when we were absent and without notice. If he is a proper business man he will conduct his business with us responsibly. We shall see if he does this. We have called his secretary twice and have not heard from him for an appointment. At this point it will be a question of who gets to us first ... the newspapers, another company to do the repairs, or recourse to professional services. Oct. 22nd - 2011 (we were not home and out for the duration of the day-we didn't know he was coming over). In any event, MADE THE DECISION to contact a BRAND NEW CONTRACTOR for all the Masonry, Drainage & Interlocking to fully remodel,renovate and completely overhaul all of the previous work along with several new installations for drainage - with restyling of all stairways (front, etc)along with parging of surfaces - using HPB gravel extensively). River-rocks were properly re-established in order to repair a stressed side-fencing ( repairs to part of a previous application. Nevertheless we thank Gregg and Loctite for their concern and wish them much success in any of their future endeavors. Kind regards.

This review is full of lies, first of all I want to say that I am more then willing to repair your job even though the warrantee is several years past due, I had a repair crew out to do the repair two weeks ago. But Steve was very rude and threaten to call the police on the workers, so they left I don’t understand what the form of payment has to do with the problem at hand. As you mentioned that you paid cash and did not pay taxes, well you did pay taxes they are included in the price. All of the statements in this review are slanderous and untrue. I demand a written apology on this web site and I will be glad to come and look at the problem and get it fixed. If I don’t receive a apology I will be filling legal action against you for these slanderous remarks. The work on the backyard deck and side walkway is now complete and the final result looks good. I'm now looking forward to spending some quality time on the deck.
