I hired David Livingstone Design to complete a checklist of home repairs. The singed agreement stated that I was to pay for 8 hour days with 2 men as well as all materials required. A 3 week renovation turned into months, David rarely showed, and the second person was unskilled at most of the tasks required. As such, the majority of the work was well below any reasonable standard of workmanship. Once he collected the majority of the monies owed, he simply abandoned the project and told me to have it finished myself. I had to hire a contractor to complete his work and to redo all the below standard items such as: painting, baseboards, damaged faucet, tile backsplash…The $900 I still owed did nothing against the $3000 I had to spend to complete this renovation. “DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY” as he will take the money and run or hire a kid to do all the work without any supervision on his part. We had many communications one he would say see ya tomorrow, than he could not make until later and than not coming!!!! Happaned many times and he himself had no idea what was left to do in our house because he went a month with out actually coming inside. He is full of it and should not be allowed to oprerate a business. MANY OF OUR COMMUNCATIONS WERE DONE BY MESSAGE AND HE DID NOT EVER STAND BEHIND HIS WORK OR CONTRACT WHICH WAS NEVER COMPLETED. WE HAVE HERE A CONTRACTOR WHICH DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS CLIENTS. IF YOU READ THIS CONTACT ME AND I WILL TELL THE TRUE SORY. HOW DO GUYS LIKE THIS SLEEP AT NIGHT. OUT $3000.00 EXTRA DOLLARS TO COMPLETE HIS WORK. IF YOU REQUIRE A GOOD CONTRCTOR HAVE ONE OF THOSE NOW AND HIRED HIM MYSELF. NOT ANY SUBCONTRACTORS OF THE DAVID LIVINGSTONE GROUP OF BULL ARTISTS!!!!

They were professional and completed the work and made sure that extra items that needed attention were also addressed. I would highly recommend Livingstone Design Build."

We were very pleased with the professionalism that David provided. There were no hidden suprises (costs) and we ere very happy woth how neat and tidy the job was. It was important that they finished within a specific timeline (whic hwe agreed) and they kept their work. I would have no trouble recommenduing livingstone Design!

I had Dave come in and complete 2 separate projects over the course of 2 years. First, he designed a great basement for me and my family and then renovated 2 bathrooms. His input was far better and honest than any I received from other contractors I had quoting. He was very transparent in his approach and offered many cost saving ideas. He was meticulous in the finishings and delivered on time and budget. I would highly recommend using Dave and his crew again and would highly recommend him...

Livingstone Design Build did an excellent job on my Master Bedroom en suite bathroom. The quality of work was excellent and the price was well within my projected budget. I was very impressed with the professionalism and experience in my dealings with Dave, who offered some great ideas that really improved the overall look when the room was completed.

David and his crew were wonderful. They are truly lovely people who are hard working who actually care about their work. David was able to schedule the work around our family’s timetable. They worked on two of my bathrooms. One required a toilet, sink and shower replacement while the other was a complete redo right down to the studs. They explained each step of the renovations and encouraged me to ask questions. They were well organized and there was a standard of workmanship. The installation of the marble floor is amazing. They were able to suggest style options which enhanced its presentation. We used a complicated wall mural in combination with a mirrored wall and they were able to complete the work to perfection. No detail was too small or too trivial. They even cleaned up at the end of each day’s work. David is a man of his word and is very involved with all aspects of the project. When we had a problem with one of the newly installed doors he came right away and within a few minutes was able to correct the slight problem. He left by telling me if there was anything else not to hesitate to call him. I appreciate someone who stands behind his work. I plan to hire them again. In fact, they are scheduled to return in a month to complete yet another project.
