Bought an armoire and tables from Kuda when he first moved to Parkdale. Within a few months I noticed severe drying and cracking on the pieces I purchased and returned to the store to ask about a exchange/refund. I had assumed perhaps he had received a 'bad' shipment of furniture and would be willing to work something out with me. To say that Dino was uncooperative is an understatement; he was down right rude and surely. He had the audacity to accuse my wife and I of not looking after the pieces and blamed the cracking on dry air in our home etc etc. I strongly advise against purchasing from someone who appears to be more interested in your money than providing any type of customer service.

I bought my dining room set at Kuda years ago. For the price i paid, i could have purchased a much better quality set. Kuda does have unique finds, decorative pieces for your home, and many different furniture pieces. However, i caution you if you are buying wood furniture from there, unless you like the "barn look" your furniture will crack over time. I later found out, from a furniture expert that "Teak" furniture for example, needs to be properly "dried" at Origin. Otherwise, the wood will still be wet, or hold water, which will later crack the wood over time. I now have a dining room table and buffet with huge cracks! very disappointing for the money i paid!! Even when you browse the store you will see cracks on their furniture, when i comfronted them with this, they told me this is the 'character' of the wood, NOT TRUE. Be warned.

Kuda's carries a unique line of amazing high quality furniture and the selection is excellent. I purchased a number of items including 2 beautiful mango wood tables with one piece tops and wood plugs. The craftsmanship is superb. Kuda's was th eone place I could find to purchase a wood rug hanger that was exactly what I was looking for. Their products are timelss will last a lifetime. Staff is knowledgable and very helpful.

Kuda has the most comprehensive collection of Eastern-inspired furniture that would feel at home in any home. However, there's this place called Inde-Art at Carlaw that offers more or less the same thing at 20-30% less. The collection is rather comprehensive as well.

Love the furniture, The new store and those cute little Kuda Cats!!! Great selection and prices can't be beat. The service is also outstanding and very very friendly. I would gladly recommend this place to any of my friends :)

I've been buying from Kuda since it first opened many years ago. I wouldn't shop anywhere else! Almost all of my large pieces of furniture are from Kuda. Over the years, I have found some wonderful pieces. Their selection of artifacts and decorations is outstanding as well, and the prices are outrageously affordable. The new location on Dufferin St. is just WOW! It has to be seen! It's not like any other furniture shopping experience you will ever have. From the huge waterfall to the tiniest knick-knack, make sure you have time to look around. It will amaze you. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Look for the two little Kuda Kitties "Bali" and "Rama" that live there...they are adorable! Thank you Kuda for making my house a relaxing, exotic space that I just love to come home to! I'm a big fan!

If you want exotic furniture for your bedroom or dining room Kuda always has great new pieces to choose from. We've been buying unique home decor items from them for years most recently a wardrobe & wine cabinet. If you want something unique thats actually well made by hand & with real wood (and at Ikea prices) check it out.

Good service and large selection of Asian wood furniture. Love the new location on Dufferin - much more space and furniture well laid out. Try to pick up furniture - much cheaper.
