I asked Kent Knox for a quote to upgrade the insulation in my attic. It was provided quickly along with professional and technical advice. Knox came when agreed, provided the service and left on time. He also provided me with recommendations on other issues that I had at no charge. Knox is a very good contractor who does what he says and leaves the homeowner with confidence that the $ were well spent. Highly recommend this company.

Upgraded my builder insulation to R50. House is significantly cooler and more comfortable. Especially upstairs. Knox insulation did a great job and did exactly what they said. Excellent clean up as well. I highly recommend them if you want an inexpensive job with a big pay off.

I have had 2 roofs done by this company, the first was about 6 years ago just before I sold my house and the second was just this month when I needed to do the roof of my newer home. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and cleanly. They arrived when promised and worked until they had completed the job. Cleaned up and left.

We live in a semi-detached house that is nearly 90 years old. Our new neighbours have a state of the art TV which was clearly audible in our living room and another which was somewhat audible in our bedroom. Knox I & R pumped insulation into the common wall in the bedroom and the hallway, and built a one and a half inch thick sound barrier wall in the living room. It was successful at reducing the sound to near zero. We are very happy with the outcome. The price was fair and reasonable. The work crew cleaned up after themselves every day.

We purchased a home in the fall and when winter set in we found the front two bedrooms were colder than the other rooms. We had a few insulation companies take a look, but they were very expensive and said they couldn't get to my job for a few weeks. I called Knox Insulation and they came two days later with their equipment to re-insulate the attic. Because of a squirrel problem that the previous owner had, the fiberglass insulation was unevenly dispersed and there were bare spots above the cold rooms. Knox arrived on time and finished the job in a few hours. They were polite and respectful of our house and were extremely clean. They left no mess and completed the job for the quoted price (which was more reasonable than their competitors), doing all that they promised. We noticed a positive difference immediately when they left and the house is much warmer than before. Kent Knox and his team are extremely professional and a wonderful contractors to work with. They are very trustworthy and I would highly recommend Knox to anyone with an insulation problem. Thank you Knox for making our home more comfortable!

Knox was recommended to us by an industrial insulator who did not do residential properties. We were very happy with the results. The job was well done and the area was left very clean.

A wee bit hard to contact initially, but further communication was fine. Appointments were met and the job done neatly and quickly at a competitive price. Going from very little to a sea of insulation makes a noticeable difference to the house feel and heating cycle, of course.

I recently hired Knox Insulation to top up the insulation in my attic. My home is only 10 years old yet I had no where near enough fiberglass insulation (4-8 inches throughout) and so I started researching. All my research pointed to the benefits of cellulose over fiberglass and I was referred to Knox Insulation by 2 different sources. Ryan was great to deal with (although tough to get on the phone during the day as he is very busy) but came through with a great price and showed up on the date promised. He brought a crew of 3 and they were all terrific. He want above and beyond finding other problems in my attic and offering to repair them at no additional cost to me. One bedrroom has a vaulted ceiling and the all the builder did was staple one peice of bat insulation along the sides... Knox blew in 8" of cellulose on top. He sealed my hatch and cleaned up after himself. My attic now has been topped up to 15" of cellulose (R50) everywhere and is perfectly even. His installer did a perfect job IMO. I noticed an immediate difference at home and I strongly recommend Knox Insulation.

We have suffered with a cold top floor in our 3 storey house since we moved in 6 years ago. My brother-in-law recommended I hire Knox Insulation to come in and top up the original builders insulation. They did a fantastic job. Kyle was responsible for the job. He called ahead of time to manage expectations on his arrival. He did a thorough inspection of the attic. Pointed out the area's which had likely contributed to our variance in house temperature? He took before and after photos to show me what he was addressing, and eventually how he had addressed. They did a fantastic job, leaving no mess at all and we look forward to 'feeling' the positive effects as the days and nights get colder. They are a five star firm!

I hired Knox to do a sprayfoam job on a renovation in toronto. Rob Stoton coordinated the project. With Robs years of experience the job was handled without a hitch. Once again a job well done. Neil owner of Evan's Built Inc
