Kent and his son-in-law Kyle just finished blowing insulation into our attic. They were extremely efficient and easy going, as we needed to change our appointment time. At all times they were professional and knowledgeable. I was surprised to read the previous post as my experience with Kent and Kyle exceeded expectation. They vacuumed up and left my house spotless. Kent is an honest professional that I would recommend to anyone. He quoted us a price, and lowered the amount once the job was complete. We had heard about him from a friend. Kent has an amazing reputation and is skilled at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone.

Knox was on time, listened to our needs, were efficient and pleasant to deal with! The insulation job was excellent and they checked for our approval before they left. They even cleaned up their mess, so we didn't even know they were here. We feel the results immediately. Would recommend them for sure.

I had to make flor soundproofing between first and second floor. Knox drill 1" holes and put some kind of celulose. This works very well. Of course not eliminate sound in 100% because of penetration via ducts and wood structure. But anyway for sure more than 50%. Good job. thank you.

We were referred by our neighbour and given an estimate by Kent who is more than qualified and has been in the business for over 30 years. We have been putting this off because we had previous companies come over and have never been comfortable with them or their costly estimates. They are very generous with the insulation and put in 12 inches compared to 6 to 8 other companies would have put in. They were very thoughtful about keeping our house clean and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends, even my mother.

We just hired Knox Insulation & Roofing to make some repairs to our roof and top up our insulation in our attic These guys are the most honest and hardworking insulation and roofing contractors around - they sure know their stuff and they take the time to explain all of the factors one should consider. I was very impressed with Knox Insulation's work and service. I found the company using HomeStars and got a prompt response from Kent Knox when I called and left a message. He came out a couple of days later to give me an estimate. I had another company come by to give me an estimate, also, and while they both told me the same things about the attic, Knox Insulation's quote was the most reasonable. It turns out our attic was not insulated properly (thanks a lot, previous owners!) and some places had NO insulation in spots at all! Kent worked to increase the ventilation and insulate the attic properly. He also insulated a pipe in our bathroom fan that runs into the attic for no charge. By the time they were done the work, he had discovered that the potlights in my baby's room had not been insulated properly from above in the attic, either, and the bulbs used for these lights were burning hot! (These potlights had been installed about 23 years ago when the second floor was added to our home by the previous owners). Kent said these lights could easily start a fire. We have these old potlights in all of our bedrooms and I am going to change them all to ensure we don't have a fire hazard on our hands. I appreciate him telling me this because otherwise I would not have known! I am pleased with Knox Insulation's work and am eager to see how much cooler in summer and warmer in winter our second floor will be from now on. This company arrived on time, completed the job efficiently and quickly, and were very polite. (My only very tiny complaint was that they did leave a bit of a mess, but it was a very hot day with a heat alert and I was not going to be petty.) If you want to support a smaller, Canadian, family-owned business, this is a great company to call.
