My husband and I are thrilled with our new Kitchen and Family Room renovation. It was all thanks to Cindy who guided us with her expertise, problem solving skills and detail management. The project once started took six weeks, but she was there daily, overseeing, answering our questions, and keeping everything on schedule. Her patience and guidance whilst we chose everything from the granite, cupboard door style, to what colour to paint our walls was amazing. I would recommend Cindy to anyone who is looking to change their kitchen into a masterpiece that compliments the rest of their home but at the same is an efficent workplace.

She was always there to hear my concerns and would quickly work to put these concerns at ease. She has excellent design ideas and alot of patience. I have recommended Kitchen Designers Plus to many people. I do this with confidence as I am also very fussy about my home. KDP renovated the kitchen of our previous home several years ago, and to renovate the kitchen in our current home we once again went with KDP, largely because of the professionalism, design flair, and obvious expertise of Kelly in the Oakville office. Kelly made a great first impression. Her ability to listen, design ideas, and self confidence surpassed that of designers we met at two of KDP’s competitors. She offered excellent design alternatives we would never have thought of ourselves. Kelly proved very easy to work with. She was accessible throughout the project and replied almost immediately to emails. She was on-site for the beginning of each new phase of the job, and any concerns we had were patiently dealt with. She has a wonderfully positive attitude and was always able to reassure us; never once did we hear “oh, we can’t do that” or “that won’t work.” The trades were uniformly professional and all work was carried out exactly on schedule. We were amazed at the cleanliness of the worksite at the end of each day. As with all jobs of this size, several minor things had to be corrected after the main job was complete. But with Kelly and KDP it’s not a case of repeated phone calls and unanswered messages. She dealt with the issues promptly and courteously, and everything was corrected as promised. The only glitch (which is no fault of Kelly’s) has been a colour mismatch of a cabinet door. The original door was scratched and the cabinet company has sent two replacement doors but neither door has matched the colour of the remaining cabinetry. This remains to be rectified, but we have every confidence that Kelly and KDP will make it right. If you are hesitant to renovate your kitchen after watching TV programs featuring nightmare renovation jobs, you needn’t worry if you sign on with KDP. We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen, and we highly recommend the company, and particularly Kelly in the Oakville office. Well done Kelly!!

I had thought about renovating my kitchens for several years. When I visited a friend, I admired their kitchen Reno. They recommended Kelly at Kitchen Designers Plus in Oakville. I visited Kelly and immediately felt comfortable with her. Kelly was knowledgeable and had a friendly yet professional manner. She quickly got a sense of what I wanted in my new kitchen. Together we came up with a design that met my needs and my wish list, all within my budget. True to her word, I had a completely operational kitchen in 6 weeks, start to finish. No delays. Kelly exceeded my expectations and offered her expert advice on many items outside of my kitchen renovation. She was always available for questions. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone embarking on the sometimes daunting journey of renovating!

Working with Kelly and Kitchen Designers Plus was an extraordinary experience both from a personal and professional standpoint. Kelly was very easy to work with, very well trained, never pushy, always patient, lots of suggestions and alternatives, working easily within the dynamics of my wife and I in choosing the perfect kitchen - at least to us. Kelly’s professionalism and the professionalism of the trades people that worked in our kitchen defied all the "horror stories" we were told to expect. They showed up on time, they all did exceptional jobs, and always left the house very neat and tidy. Everything was well organized, planned out in detail, and agreed to well in advance - from the dumpster, to the materials, to scheduling the various trades people - and it all went like clock-work. Many people said you could not do it in 6 weeks, rather to expect more like 7 to 9 weeks and to expect cost overruns and unplanned expenses. Well, you did not do it in 6 weeks, after 5 and a half weeks we could move back into the kitchen - excellent! There were neither cost overruns nor unplanned expenses; you kept to the agreed to budget - excellent! Even little picky things like moving a ceiling lighting fixture about 7 or 8 inches, or coming back to install dimmer switches - no problem. We cannot say enough about Kelly and Kitchen Designers Plus, our overall positive experience, and the beautiful kitchen we ended up with. Thanks so much to you and to your Team. My husband and I happened upon KDP while surfing the internet... and were quite impressed with our initial visit to their website. This prompted us to meet with them shortly thereafter to explore the possibility of hiring them to create our 'Dream Kitchen'. Impressed once again, we signed on with them to get the job done. Having already done a kitchen reno 10 years earlier and being less than satisfied, I was so looking forward to having someone 'professionally qualified' guide us through the process. And so the journey began... Designer Cindy Bako's expertise and down to earth personality made working with her an absolute delight from start to finish... my only complaint being that when the job was done, I missed our almost daily contact! All the tradesmen involved did exceptional work as well, and on some days, went above and beyond what was initially asked of them. Our custom made cabinets by Elmwood turned out perfect and show beautifully! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend KDP to family & friends.
