Jordan's experienced floor installer Howie installed our bamboo flooring with a staple gun. Even after I noticed bumps from the staples I was assured thats how you install bamboo. When the job was complete, in several large areas there were staple bumps every six inches. Also there were two places where they used a plank that had a cracked edge. It took 6 months for them to get the repairs done - we had a major birthday party with missing planks covered by a dingy carpet because they didn't order enough. That was after they got thy wrong colour match in. They left a chipped plank right in front of the fireplace and tried to cover it with wood putty. Very unproffessional and still noticeable to this day. They reused the coloured trim which was cracked and just glued it in place. In total the job took approx. 9 months, althought I had paid the bill on presentation. In comparison a friend's husband did their floors himself - it looked far better than our professional job and it only took a few days not MONTHS.
