Jeff and his team did an excellent job. We did a total "gut" of an old kitchen. We had a very tight space to work with and he worked with us upfront to make sure that the design met our needs, introducing some new ideas and suggestions that improved the design. Jeff is reliable; he showed up when he said he would, stayed on schedule and on budget. We appreciated the fact that he kept us informed throughout. He did not hesitate to correct any issues that required his attention and cares about his client's satisfaction and the quality of his work. We would certainly recommend Jeff's company.

We partially finished our basement in June/July 2008. Jeff and his crew were exceptional because they paid attention to the whole picture and was very detailed. Our son, called him Jeff the builder because he loved the show 'Bob the builder'. His son even came out to finish the job with a broken arm and Jeff even appeared at our house on a national holiday. This was a typical subdivision basement . Natasha and Boris rolled up their sleeves and did some of the work themselves to bring the project in on budget . We helped organize and lay-out the space for the finished basement . We look forward to coming back for phase 2 .

We jokingly comment to visitors that our project began as an idea to replace carpet with tile on our main floor and just simply grew. Looking back on what was a 12 week project, I do not believe we could have chosen a better contractor. Every detail of the project was executed with a conscientious commitment to ensuring we were happy with the results. Jeff (and Mitch)on many occasions would say, "If you are not 100% happy with the result now, you won't be happy with it later. So let’s make sure you are happy with it now." My wife will attest to the fact that I obsess about the details, but Team Roberts attended to details I hadn't even considered! Our kitchen is a dream! We absolutely love working in it and it is our family gathering place. My older daughter can work at her laptop at a neat little work area within the kitchen (Jeff's idea) while still interacting with her mother. Mom also has her own place for staying organized. The workmanship of the cabinetry is flawless. All measurements made during the design stage were executed correctly and everything was delivered as scheduled and fit perfectly. The new wall opening from family room to kitchen has allowed the back of the house to become a complete entertaining area. The revitalized fireplace adds warmth and charm. The updated dining room with new wainscoting and floors is a pleasure to host more formal dining. I truly believe that there is no job Jeff and his team can't handle. My early concerns of a home renovation nightmare was put to rest by Jeff and his crew. I found his crew to be skilled tradesman and very considerate of my family as we lived through the demolition and reconstruction. They did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves daily which made living through a major home renovation much less stressful to the inhabitants. Jeff organized everything throughout the job, from start to finish. As a result of his planning and scheduling of sub-trades, I found that I was a mere spectator in to Jeff’s work. This was a nice little project that went very smoothly.Peter was pleasantly surprised with the results of his design choices,as they all blended together beautifully . I only had to point him in the right direction to help him achieve his goals . This was a project we could all be very proud of.

Jeff came and jacked up my porch, which was leaning due to a poorly constructed pier. We didn't really know what to expect under there, so Jeff gave me a range of prices to expect for the work. Thankfully, Jeff ensured that it was a small job that came in at the lower end of his range. They did the work quickly, efficiently and left the place clean afterwards. He even fixed up my downspout for me. Overall, I was very happy with the job and the service I received.

We wanted to do a really big/difficult basement reno, and did a lot of research on who to use. Well, lets just say we picked right. Before the reno, we had water problems, structural problems, and the basement was, in places only 5ft tall, on a really old semi-detached home in downtown. Jeff was able to open up the basement, moving out beams, fixing water problems, underpinning, etc. and on top of all that deal with the architects, inspectors, and engineers (ours and our neighbour's!), who all gave the workmanship their highest praise. Well, that's the structural part, but what about the finishing? My wife has what you would call 'very good taste' and the workmanship on the finishing touches was even able to make her happy... wainscoting, bordered panels, etc - I am truly impressed. They were also able to keep me happy too, with quite the home theater room (built in runnable wiring, component cabinets, subwoofer closet...). We were skeptical at first, but J. Roberts and Assoc. says they will work within your budget, and they mean it. They were able to keep everything inline. It allowed us to get some extras (like a beautiful gas fireplace they built in). If you are looking for something upscale, done right and honestly, but need the assurance of costs staying under control and getting top value, I would look no further. Last but not least, it is great to have found, in this business, a group you can trust to consistently deliver in a professional, courteous manner. Not just Jeff himself, but the way his whole team does business - cleaning up after themselves, being respectful of our privacy, made a big reno much more easy to live through! A big thanks Jeff and team!

Jeff Roberts is a contractor that you can depend on. Honest, personable and dedicated. He is a perfectionist that won't stand for anything but the best from any sub-trade he brings in. We had what we thought was a very risky project (an upper floor reno on an old semi-detached in tight quarters, downtown Toronto, with us out of the country for most of the time). Lots of potential for trouble, but J. Roberts and team took it all in stride and incredibly delivered on budget and on time. They were also very clean, minimizing disruptions to us, and very thoughtful in helping plan all the way through to the final touches. They made it easy. We ended up with a beautiful AND functional upper floor (completely new bathroom, beautiful new wood flooring, paint, repairs...). Perhaps the biggest compliment to Jeff is how many repeat customers he has. We will definitely become one of them.
