Derek Tiessen of Glen Echo Landscaping coordinated with plumbers, electricians and pool installer to transform our barren backyard into an oasis. From a 1/2 acre of dead dying grass to an outdoor living centre our entire family and friends enjoy non-stop. The co-ordination between all parties to complete this project were beyond expectations. From beginning to end we were very impressed. All employees were professional, hard working and very contientious to meet all of our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Glen Echo Landscaping.

Glen Echo provided outstanding service and professionalism when replacing our retaining wall. They came in right on budget, timing and even added some extras without additional costs. October 16, 2011 Dear Derek and the Glen Echo Landscaping Staff, Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did landscaping our front yard and garden this summer. Our home looks beautiful! The landscape designer was Val Hadden, who came up with a design that truly suited our home and our family. Val was very energetic and easy to talk to. She had many great ideas about what the front of the house would look like, but also listened to my concerns and ideas. We were able to save several older trees and shrubs while incorporating lots of new plant material. Val suggested the colour of the brick pavers for the walk way and flagstone for the front porch which match nicely. She incorporated landscape lighting which makes our home look lovely, even at night time. She did great job and was very friendly and easy to work with. Mark Savoya completed the front porch area with flagstone which looks beautiful. The stone is cut perfectly and slopes away from the house for correct drainage. He was very friendly and completed the work quickly and correctly. Once again, thank you for the great job. Our family is so pleased with the work that Derek (with his team including Marion and Jeremy) did on our backyard renovation around our newly purchased hot tub. Derek came up with a fabulous design that we could have never come up with on our own! This previously neglected part of our backyard would have new life and purpose! We knew that Glen Echo would have expertise in both hardscaping (stone) and plant materials, and we were not disappointed. The landscaping team executed the design in a very reasonable amount of time, and with excellent workmanship. We could not imagine a more gorgeous setting for our hot tub, and we anticipate using this part of our yard often!

I have been shopping at Glen Echo for many years for my garden needs. They have a great mix of flowers and a vast selection of trees, shrubs and garden sculptures. It amazes me how knowledgeable and calm the staff there (I am always frazzled chasing my kids) are, and am grateful for their assistance every time. Thanks to Glen Echo, my home has won a gardening award from the City of Brampton 2 years in a row (fingers crossed for 2010!).

Wanted a design for our home enterance. Design was produced and returned to us within a week. We proceeded to use the nursery to buy all our garden supplies and then planted on our own schedule following the design. Great advice and assistance.

Would rate 10+++ if possible. Derek, Jeremy, Marion & the rest of the team have exceeded our expectations again (3rd time). Our property is the envy of the neighbourhood as it truly has a 'WOW' factor. The workmanship, along with the respect they demonstrate for the homeowner and each other is exceptional. A very hard working group who excel at their profession. Would highly recommend Glen Echo - in a heartbeat.

Glen Echo has transformed our understated corner lot into a beautiful woodland. Derek Tiessen created a great plan and the guys Jeremy, Marion, Greg and Terry did a FANTASTIC job! Their knowledge and artistry are truly second to none!! We are most definitely already looking forward to Spring!!

I called Glen Echo back in June for some landscape work in my backyard. I picked them to work on my backyard because they return my calls and able to work with my budget and timeline. The crew did a nice job just shy of July 1. It was a rainy day. As most of you know, we had quit a bit of rain in the summer. However there is an area where the water doesn't seem to go anywhere. If it rains hard, the water will come right into my lawn. I expressed my concern to Glen Echo that this is a problem and this needs to be looked at. They sent another team to correct the problem. The guys came even made it more beautiful than before. At the end, they suprised us with a gift to show how much they care about the business. Once again, Glen Echo has pulled this one up. My backyard looks fabulous and I know I would call Glen Echo for future landscape work because they care.

Went to buy flowers and landscape for my garden for the first time. Had no idea what I was doing or anything about flowers. Lady was extremely helpful in the design of my garden and I was very pleased.
