We didn't have complicated needs but a written quote arrived within a day of enquiry and the invoice matched it, in the end. An electrician came within a couple of days (it wasn't urgent) and he was very friendly and polite. We don't know much about electrical things but want to understand what's behind our walls and ceiling. He explained things as he went, which we really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend this company and use them again.

Potlight replacement

The friendly team are always on site early, do great professional tidy work and clean up the site afterwards. Oris managed to deal with the unexpected issues of an old house and showed off his masonary skills - nice work! MikeVaughanWhen my builder wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for potlights and home automation, I contacted Hotwire. I know they did good work but they saved me about 80% off on a builders price We did heated flooring, led potlights inside and outside and wired my home for home automation. It was done clean and quick and with precision. I wouldnt recommend anyone else but these guys. they are fantastic to deal with and their service can not be beat. period!!!! I love my new home now and at a fraction of the builder'sprice

Panel Upgrade 60A-100A
James M in TorontoTook pretty much a full day to install. There was a bit of a dispute on overages but they took care of it by agreeing to the initial price. Overall it was a good experience. Would hire them again for future projects. The dispute on overages was not how much the overages cost. It was that they were not presented to me before actually starting the work. Moving the panel was said to be "not a problem". Not, "not a problem, it will just be an additional...". I don't mind paying for overages but I like to agree to additional costs BEFORE the work is done. Again, I appreciate that the original price was honoured as that was the price I agreed to.

Hello James, Thank you kindly for your review. We are glad you are pleased with our work. Panel changes are always a full day of work, and we also advise our clients 8am to 4pm. We actually finished it earlier but needless to say our guys went above and beyond for you. When you asked to change the scope of the work and requested to have the panel relocated, certainly a panel relocation and a stright panel change was not the same price. We gave you a very fair option to do the relocation for an additional 150 dollars, you didnt like that choice so we proceeded to do as was set out on the original scope. I tried to DIY... disaster after disaster.... hotwire dispatched 2 guys and in just over 2 hours they completed everything... i was amazed... these guys are knowledgeable, professional and the price is VERY reasonable... I also agree with other posters that their office staff are excellent... i found them on homestars.com and I am proud to say that they were the perfect choice... I would hire them again in a heartbeat

Charles Guzman in MiltonFrom initial contact to clean-up, the HotWire team did a fantastic job of setting and exceeding my expectations. Hanna (their front office quarterback) is extremely responsive and is a pleasure to work with. The crew arrived bright and early and started work before I even arrived on site. They were extremely thorough and made sure that I was comfortable with all aspects of the job. I had my doubts that they would complete all the work in one day.... but in the end, this team hauled a$$ and delivered a quality product. Bottomline, I will only call this team for any electrical needs in the future. Hopefully they can keep up this level of quality, professionalism, and value as they grow.
