swilson in the west endVarious Ongoing Projects We have three rental properties in the area and the guys at Downtown have helped us through numerous projects - big and small. The product selection and prices are great, they know what they're talking about and they take the time to walk you through things and trouble shoot. We've been delighted to see them grow along with the neighbourhood!

Service and selection was great - respond
Donna in Little Italybathroom renovation We were first introduced to Downtown Lumber through the National Home Show and went to visit the Ossington location. We were surprised to see so much selection. Also, the staff was very helpful with suggestions. Although we just went in to buy a toilet, we actually came out ideas for a number of other items we may go back to purchase as a result.

Tyler Queen WestLighting in Kitchen The Home Building Center "Downtown Lumber" was very helpful in selecting and providing ideas for our kitchen lighting. The Salesperson was able to make suggestions as to what type of lighting would be best for our kitchen.

Always there, with all sorts of things - respond
Brian in TorontoSupplier for a whole renovation Downtown Lumber is our local hardware store, only a block from where we've renovated a house over the last year. Their staff are great, and while they don't have every single product we need, the staff is great and tries very hard. It feels very much like a family business and they know us every time we go in there. They are also great with returns, which is useful when doing plumbing and electrical work where you don't always know what you want and sometimes have to buy extra pieces and return the ones you don't need. This place is beyond the local place, and others should travel to get here.
And don't forget they have a full lumberyard in the back, and made local deliveries of plywood and lumber within an hour of ordering them at the counter.

Great asset to have in downtown! - respond
Andre in Little PortugalMisc. Home Renovation Supplies We're lucky to have Downtown Lumber nearby. If not for them, we'd have to drive out to a big box store. During my recent condo renovation I made frequent trips to buy things as small as dust masks, quarter rounds, PL premium, silicone sealant, and the other little things that you never have when you need!

One-Stop-Shop for renovation help - respond
Natasha from ParkdaleBathroom Renovation and general home repair For superlative service and competitive pricing, forget the big-box stores and visit the gang at Downtown Lumber. Johnny, Tino and Max took great care of me as I fumbled my way through a bathroom renovation. From planning, to sourcing materials and trades, these guys are pros. The products selection is great, but it's the service and attention to detail that makes doing business here a pleasure.
