Brent was great, he was very thorough and took the time to explain all of his findings. Brent's thoroughness revealed a water leak which lead to mold in the basement( he found the mold by moving some "suspicous" boxes). Along with a few other things he found, we decided not to buy the home. The search goes on, we will hire Brent again. Thanks Mike

We hired Brent to inspect an older home that we were buying in Toronto. We had identified some early issues with the house (needed new roof shingles, dampness in basement) but wanted some help to understand how severe the issues were. Not only did he identify the source of the problems, he walked us through dozens of other costly issues that we had missed altogether. He was kind, honest, and took the time to answer each and every question we had - nomatter how small. He was completely objective and it was clear he was not trying to force a purchase decision, but just inform us. He was very thorough, took plenty of pictures, rolled up his sleeves and crawled in every nook and cranny of the home. We will most certainly be calling on Brent again! Highly recommended.

That house was the perfect example of one of those homes that you see on TV where people thought it looked nice, bought it, and now they are trapped with debt up to their necks. My wife and I bought our first home conditional on inspection. Upon accepting the offer conditionally, we had three business days to co ordinate the home inspection. Brent was available on short notice to complete the home inspection. He was professional, kind and informative. He spent approx. 3 hours at the house and provided a detailed report upon completion. Based on the report results, we became aware of a few issues with the home that allowed us to negotiate the selling price down $5,000! It was money well spent. Brent was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend his services!

Brent was available within the next couple of days (i needed someone in quick). He did the inspection thoroughly, explained everything patiently and provided ballpark numbers and had suggestions for the needed reparations. He sent me the report over email very quickly and told me to call if I needed anything. I did email him back a couple of days later with a precise question and he call me in the next couple of hours to help me with the request. Brent is super efficeint, considerate and professional. He does the job very well and for a competitive price.

Brent was phenomenal - even with snow on the roof, he went out to inspect a leak we saw in the chimney. He squeezed into the attic despite a closet organizer partially blocking the access hatch. He even found a possible issue in the foundation that we found out was not more than a settling crack and was not an issue for us moving forward. Very friendly, explained everything in simple terms and definitely went out of his way during the inspection.

Those of you who may be undecided as to which inspector you should go for, I can tell you that your search is over! I’m a repeat customer and I think that alone says a lot. As clearly demonstrated in the reviews by others here, Brent is very competent and knowledgeable but it doesn’t stop there. Not only is he reliable (he always shows up earlier than the scheduled time) and accommodating (he was able to schedule us in for our preferred time with only 2 days’ notice which I appreciated given his hectic schedule), he is very committed to what he does. We had hail on the day of our inspection but that didn’t stop Brent – he went up the roof and inspected every corner which pleasantly surprised us, and boy am I glad that he did! We found invaluable information about the roof through Brent which helped us tremendously with our decision making. What I appreciated the most is his willingness to answer our questions after the inspection whether it’s in the morning or evening – that’s how loyal he is to his clients. We were able to receive his inspection report binder and the photos on the same day (which is very helpful when you have a tight closing date) and he never rushed any of us (whether during the inspection or after) which was very important given that there was more than one person he was dealing with! :) I can’t recommend Brent enough. You know it's funny, I hear so many stories of people telling me things that their other home inspector missed, and I think to myself, how could he have missed something that big?! A realtor told me yesterday that she went with the pre-listing inspection report provided by a large home inspection company and no-where on the report did it have any mention of a bunch of asbestos (that was very obvious) in the home. She called the company, spoke to the Vice President, and he basically said "to bad so sad for her client". (who bought the home based on the pre-listing report). They had no interest whatsoever of maybe trying to make things a little better. None whatsoever. Not bad customer service eh? I would be out of business if I had that attitude.
