Chatelet is a lovely store in Queen West with a beautiful selection of feminine home accessories, decor and furniture. I recently purchased an antique chest of drawers from there and found the service to be incredibly helpful.

I was shopping on Queen Street West, one Sunday afternoon when I spotted Chatelet. This gorgeous little boutique is the ultimate Shabby Chic Store in the city of Toronto. The store is jam packed with mirrors, chandeliers, bits of furniture, prints, shelves and so much more. The day we stopped in there was a young woman working there who was so very helpful, nice and not pushy in any way. She also mentioned to us that they have a seamstress on site that makes drapes etc. While we were at Chatelet we picked up two matching venetian mirror shelves that I have not seen any where else. They also sell wrought iron chairs and accessories. This store really is a great find in Toronto and I am very much looking forward to going back soon. If you are into Shabby Chic I would highly recommend checking out this store. Also, if you are looking for an item that will be a great conversation piece in your home, regardless of your decorating style Chatelet would be a great starting point.

The staff at Chatelet Home are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They can do custom work on lampshades and pillows, so it's a wonderful place to get one of a kind accessories.
