It’s been a few months that they did windows, sliding doors and front door at our house, plus windows and front door at a family member. We are all very happy with quality, price and punctuality of the salesperson and the entire crew. Job well done. I would recommend them again to anyone.

I've never written a review before today. But after my service with from Canadian Choice Windows and Doors I felt strongly that this company should be recognized for their wonderful service. I have a patio door in the back of my house which has a lock. This lock just stopped working one day. I figured it looked simple enough, surely I'll phone a locksmith to fix it before the day is out. After phoning a half dozen, all telling me that they don't touch these locks...I was perplexed. I final found one that said he would take care of it, came to my house, looked at the door/lock and told me I needed to replace the entire door as those locks weren't manufactured anymore. How something that appeared to be an easy fix turn out so difficult. I finally had one locksmith suggest I talked to a patio door manufacture. Found one - they wouldn't deal with the public directly. Yes my saga continued. Finally I found markings on the panes of my windows that told me who manufactured the glass which lead me to Canadian Choice Windows and Doors. The gentleman on the phone I dealt with Oleg couldn't have been nicer. After a lengthy conversation about my dilemma and a couple photos he agreed to help me and ordered a lock for my door AND agreed to install it. When he came he couldn't have been nicer and gave me two options for my door handle and replacement lock. He also gave me a couple good tips for keeping patio windows and doors in good repair. We had 12 windows (3 brick to brick, one of which was a bay window) replaced in the summer of 2011. Decided to wait a while till posting so we could report any defects that arose after the work. Well, there really are no issues that we're aware of. Our salesman, (who I think may not be at the Alta location) was professional and quite knowledgeable. His price was 10 - 15% less than any of the others, but his interest in our needs, and the many favourable reviews, is what caused us to choose them. The installation was done by a 2 man crew over the course of the day, and they didn't go home until the job was done, even though it had become dark. This was impressive. They knew what they were doing and cleaned up any mess. The next day we did notice a small tear in one of the screens, and a couple scratches to the aluminium trim. The screen was promptly replaced and the scratches nicely touched up. One thing though, some maintenance is required as the metal lintels above the windows were not capped, and require periodic painting. I know many suggest not capping the lintels as this will apparently prevent water from draining properly. None of this was discussed at either the time of the sale or installation. Anyhow, overall we're very pleased with the job.

Canadian Choice replaced the windows in my house and they did a great job. So far I’ve found the work to be high quality and they were fast, completing the job in a day.

I decided to go with Canadian Choice windows after getting five quotes in total. The reviews online seemed to be great and I liked the type of window styles they had to offer. The sales guys also seemed very interested in working with me to get the job done right. So I guess, here goes why I've rated them so low: 1) When they came by to give me a quote in July 2012, I was shown the double sliding windows and was told that these are the windows they sell. So I assumed that those were what I was going to have installed, since that's what they were showing me. It wasn't until the day of filling out the contract that I found out the quote did not include the double sliding windows, it was the single sliding windows. They did make accommodations for that, which I appreciate. 2) In ordering the windows in the contract, I went through the house and described what I wanted for each window. The previous quote and the contract were not written in a format for the average layman to understand. The handwritten contract with short hand notes was extremely difficult to understand what I was actually getting. So I confirmed everything verbally, then signed. Turned out the most important window to me was not ordered to what I wanted. 3) The contract was signed July 31, 2012 and I was told everything would be in within 6 weeks. I received the phone call 9 weeks later to come install everything. 4)The order came in and a screen was missing off of one of our windows. It is now May 13, 2013 and I am still waiting for the screen. I have made several phone calls, we have had installers come out four times now to "look at it". They still have not finished their job. 5) Speaking of finishing their job, I was told the installation would take three days and it took them two weeks, then four weeks later they came back to fix two of the five deficiencies (the screen is one that was not fixed). 6) A piece of one of the sidelights was missing when they installed it and we were told it would take a couple weeks to come in. This still has not come in (it's now May 13, 2013) and again, we've had their installers come out four times to "look at it". 7) Right before Christmas, we were told that the installers were going to come by one day to fix the deficiencies, so we stayed home the entire day waiting. When we called on the Monday to find out why they did not show up, we were told that the installers had gone on vacation for three weeks and they could not finish our job until they were back. They were due back January 9, 2013 and it is now May 13. 8) They have an excuse every time why they can't finish our job: ie the pieces were not ordered correctly, the pieces were not ordered, it was lost, etc. etc. 9) Now, one of our windows has developed a crack in it and I called in about it at the beginning of February to the Project Manager. This is warranty work and since they still haven't finished installing, I would hope they fix this in a reasonable amount of time without cost. He informed me it would be in within a few weeks. We have now called three times to get this fixed, and have not received any indication that they will ever get this work done. 10) Not that this point is a big deal as I do understand somethings happen, but this is more fuel to the fire. Our backdoor was the wrong door and had to be reordered and one of our other windows was ordered at the wrong size and had to be reordered. I strongly suggest going with another company if you have a large job to do. Canadian Choice Windows out of Airdrie is not set up for big jobs and lacks the organization skills to manage such large projects. I must say that I'm very disappointed in each step of the entire project with them starting from the sales to the so-called finish. If I had known that our 13 windows and three doors project was going to take them a year to finish, I definitely would have gone with my second choice.

Oliver was my sales rep and he was brilliant,I only wanted a quote but I was blown away with his expertise I ended up getting work done,He was so friendly and down to earth,The work was just completed and the guys did a great job,they were fast and efficient,and never left any mess,Great job guys,Thank You,

I had my windows replaced by Canadian Choice after finding them online. They were friendly and quick. The only thing I did not appreciate is that the paint around the frames got peeled off as they did not use a cutter around the frames first before removing the windows.

My wife looked at other companies but their salesman was really nice, honest and the price was right. They put in 5 windows for us but they let the puppy out through the gate and left without making sure he was okay. Then they didn't even call afterwards to make sure he was found! And now I have to get ahold of the salesman because with the one window the caulking is starting to turn brown (all of the other windows appear fine).

Alex Davidovitch was very professional. His expertise was great and he provided the best solution at an attractive price . Victor was our installer and he was very good. It was a pleasure having him around our house. The new windows have greatly improved the look of our house and we look forward to enjoying the new windows for years to come. We would highly recommend Canadian Choice Windows and Doors.

I saw the beautiful windows done in my friend's house which made me realize i need new windows, too. They sent me a sales man Stan and the installer Mike, and they were all good with their job. The windows are installed to my big satisfaction and they cleaned up well after. I can see a difference in all my rooms' appearance and i will have any drafty windows in the winter.
