Both Laura and Bill arrived promptly to our initial appointment and after thorough discussion gave us a feeling of trust and confidence that they could do this job well. Working with Laura during our planning stage has been an enjoyable and stress-free experience. She is a smart and efficient thinker who combined all of our wants and needs with her vast knowledge to produce several creative and functional layouts that our budget could accomodate. She makes herself accessible and has maintained continuous communication during the permit(s) acquisition phase. We have been pleased thus far, and once all permits are obtained we look forward to transforming our vision on paper into a magnificent reality.

Bravehart answered my call for a consult and quote when many would probably have not, seeing that it would be such a small job. Laura came out to my house and spent the needed time assessing my needs. She not only told me what she thought would work best but also tried to find the most econimical way of doing what I needed done, and being on Maternity leave this was very much appreciated. I hired Bravehart Building to help me design my living/dining room area and worked with their interior designer Laura. Laura was wonderful to work with. She really listened to what we wanted, and she offered us flexible design solutions at different price points. This allowed us to stay on budget and decide on what we wanted to splurge on. My basement was a mess and I couldn't stand being down there. It felt like a prison. I called Bravehart Building because one of my friends recommended them so I figured, what the heck? Bill Wallace and his wonderful crew waterproofed, rewired and totally renovated our basement recreation and laundry rooms. They arrived on time, cleaned up well and did a top rate job. We hired Bravehart to design and build our 'outdoor lounge". We knew we wanted to go modern style and relate the exterior to the house interior, but were unsure how to proceed. Laura showed us a number of workable ideas, and we refined and built one. Bill's expertise with soils, concrete, lumber, etc were invaluable. They even had our siding custom milled for the project- that is the Bravehart level of detail and caring. We were incredibly impressed with their commitment to our project, timeliness and professionalism. Each of their tradesmen arrived on time and the various steps in the project over which Laura had control were completed in the time specified in Laura's original schedule. We would highly recommend them to people undertaking an interior or exterior type project. We look forward to working with them on our next housing project.

Laura has been working with us to re-design our home, involving an addition out the back and a second floor. She has skillfully shepherded us through the design phase, kept us on track, and risen to our challenges. I can honestly say that at the end of this planning we have explored all options and have come up with the plan that suits both our budget and space needs.

We worked with Laura at Bravehart to redesign the space plan of our home. We wanted more space and a Great Room feel on the main floor, as well as other deliverables. The planning process Laura uses to help clients vision different scenarios is very informative- both from a visual and a financial view. We will recommend this approach to people who know they want to renovate their house, but are unsure of how to scope the most appropriate plan; with respect to adding space, new features, level of aesthetics, the budget, phasing work and timelines.
