Bill Wallace and Laura Pollard of Bravehart Building were an enormous help to me in both the design and execution of renovations in two suites of a large triplex that I own in Central Toronto. The renovations involved kitchens, bathrooms, wiring, structural work, flooring etc. Laura was extremely creative with space planning and Bill oversaw his trades in a way that resulted in an end result that not only met but exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely use them again if the need arises.

Laura Pollard offered her professional report complete with pictures of each room - accompanied by her personal recommendations for upgrades and - in some cases - a total re-design. She was most helpful and we implemented most of her changes in our renovations. This project is for an income property and so she kept her recommendations with that in mind.We would hire her services agian -when we deicde to sell the house in future.

In my business our dryer is absolutely necessary so we were desperate to get it fixed. My first call was to whirlpool who said it didn't sound like a dryer issue, but a vent problem. Bravehart had done some work for me in the past, so I called to see if they could help. Bill the owner came and after trouble shooting discovered that the hose was not connected properly to the vent and was compromising the flow of air. He also cleaned all the vents to be sure as well. The dryer works great now!

Laura has been working with us through the design phase of our project. Through her comprehensive process, she has made us think about our needs and wants and about the possibilities available for our space. She's done up a series of designs that are creative and interesting. While in the middle of discussing our project, our shower broke and Laura immediately recommended someone (Tino) to come fix it. Tino was responsive, professional and got the job done (with a much better solution that our normal 'contractor' provided). Now that's service. We are really pleased so far and look forward to Phase II or our project.

Laura from Bravehart was very accomodating with our schedule from our very first meeting. We discussed what we wanted in a home and for our lifestyle and we gave her some ideas of what we like. After several meetings, she came up with an initial plan of our additions. With a bit of tweeking, we quickly came to a plan of what we wanted. She had some excellent ideas, particularly with the kitchen layout which we will implement in the next few years over which we will do our reno. Laura and Alex, on contract with Bravehart for drawings and permits, worked to get the permits in and stayed on top of the City employees when the permits were getting stalled for no apparent reason. They were also quick to come up with solutions to some of the issues the City had. Overall, for the layout, plans and permit work, we were happy with Bravehart and would recommend them to friends.

After an unforeseen water issue in the basement witch, delayed the project, Bravheart came back with a new idea to change the design of the basement to fix the issue. The basement and main floor look great and we are vary happy with the quality of work that the workers gave. The staff and subcontractors are vary friendly.

This project was a challenge due to both soil and water conditions. The ideal approach was to underpin the basement and we appreciated your patience while we investigated methods of managing water and soil conditions.... The final solution, benching, was an engineering solution, not a Design ideal in terms of space planning. However, we were able to make lemonade with lemons and create some custom items, such as the custom shower- using the structural benching to your advantage. Thanks for your help!!!

We were looking to renovate our unfinished basement, reconfigure the heating system, and add a new separate entrance. Laura and Bill were very helpful in explaining all of the important factors to consider, allowing us to tailor our own process, and guiding us through the various choices to be made. The plans came together quickly, and the permit almost instantly. Highly recommended!
