At the beginning of September my sewer backed up into the downstairs of my home. Modern drainage came immediately to unplug the drain and release the backup. Modern was very fast and efficient but busy for the next couple of weeks, understandably because they are so good. I was forced to hire another contractor to come in and excavate my driveway and garden areas so my drain could be dug up and repaired. The first company I hired kept putting me off, for what reasons I am not quite sure. After being stood up three times by this first contractor who never took my concerns seriously it was certainly nice to encounter a company like Base Excavating that gave me the respect and immediate attention that my problem demanded. Tyler of Base Excavating was here within a few days as he promised and had my problem solved. He was efficient, did a great job and was very personable while all the time keeping my budget in mind. We encountered other problems such as old drain tiles that needed to be replaced, a strip drain that was never put in the driveway for drainage and a storm drain that was never installed or hooked up. All problems solved once again by Tyler, who kept budget and timeliness in mind. Nice doing business with someone who cares. I would recommend Tyler time and time again.
