I hired avery to move after being recommended from my realtor and other separate sources. I was moving a full house about 20km. Steve was our sales contact and he was very informative and upfront about the costs and the strategy the movers will take. On the day of the move, the team of 3 (Frank, Gord and Ricardo) were on-time and ready to go. they carefully used padding and mats to protect my home, they asked lots of questions while they got started which made me feel very trusting in their efforts. They were very efficient, knowledgable and careful with the furniture especially some of heavy pieces. they managed to quickly load a full truck and get everything in 1 truck load. Impressive by no means! I will not hesitate to hire/recommend them and ask for that team again!

Our move with Avery was easy from start to finish. John, Mikey and Dennis arrived 10 minutes early and did everything in their power to get us moved quickly and with the utmost respect for our belongings. I chose Avery because simply, they had a great rate and they were honest and straight forward about the process. The key is to prepare before hand and be up-front with your directions to the movers and your move will be successful. Avery's movers work hard and they want to do a good job. They did that for us and I would recommend them to anyone who wants the same.

I recently moved from one aprtment into a condominium that I just purchased. Avery Moving did an excellent job moving my furniture. They showed up on time and the move was completed within the estimated time that I was given when i booked. Nothing was broken or dropped and I simply could not have asked for better movers.

We used Avery, to move my elderly parents from a large home to a 2-storey condo, 10 days before Christmas. There were 3 of them and they showed up as promised at 9:00am They worked very well together and were very friendly and courteous. Johnny, John and Atiela. They made one stop to drop off a mattress and box spring, and then on to the condo. They were finished within 8 hours and worked hard as there was a long hall to get to the condo after the elevator. One peice was carried up 3 flights of stairs as it was too long for the elevator. Kudos to the guys, and Steve for hiring a good bunch, nothing was harmed or damaged, and they were all in a good mood throughout the time with us. Professional movers. Moved apartments downtown. Professional and on time. Just make sure to ask when payment is expected as it may be required to pay onsite when the move is done. Other than that, I would use them again. Also make sure you book the elevator in advance.

Excellent experience. Contacted them via email and they responded within 1 hour and with offer to get the move done on the same day. I ended up scheduling an appointment and they showed up right on time and got the move done within estimated time. Staff were both helpful and careful. Would not hesitate to use again. Excellent, cost competitive and reliable service.

4 movers, worked hard, no surprises, provided all supplies and completed the work just below estimate. Everything done professionally with a positive attitude. Overall, I had a great time with guys while they worked and the experience was very positive. Can't wait till I get the new house and call Avery to bring all my stuff back!!!!

Overall I was happy with Avery Moving and Storage. The owner, Steve, works hard and is obviously experienced. It cost a little more than I expected but it is very hard to predict in advance exactly how much a move will cost. I was moving from the third and second floors of a house and some of the furniture had to be taken out through french doors on the second floor. Also I hadn't used movers for over 20 years so didn't have much idea of the cost. The reason I didn't give a 10 was that a 3 piece glass desk wasn't fully reassembled. When I contacted Avery regarding this, he reminded me that he had asked me if everything was alright. The desk had looked as if it been reassembled but on closer inspection some of the components had been placed together but not screwed together. Avery did send someone to complete the job but it took a while. Meanwhile my cat jumped on the table not realizing that a piece of glass was missing. I can't, after witnessing a shocked Nanook go right through the table and land on the floor give Avery a 10 :)

Steve and his crew showed up on time to move me out of my house and into storage. The process was effortless for me ( and a lot of work for Avery). I had nothing ready and they provided boxes and packed up and took everything away to storage. 1 month later my items came out of storage and moved into my new place. I even got a cool ride in the moving truck! Both times the movers were professional and efficent. I would highly recommend to everyone I know and to people I don't know
