Bob renovated our bathroom a few years ago. A couple of days ago, the hose that connects the water source to the shower head broke. I contacted him in the evening, and he was at our house the following day to fix it. It's wonderful to be able to contact someone in the neighbourhood and have him respond so quickly. I have recommended Bob to friends in the past and I will continue to do so!

Bob gutted and rebuilt our ensuite shower in 2004, and he recently returned in 2013 to re-grout and re-caulk the shower. As he was in 2004, Bob was completely professional, on time, very skilled, careful, and thorough. Bob understands the mechanics AND the aesthetics of the work, and will do everything he can to make sure you are satisfied. He is completely trustworthy, and it is a pleasure to have him work in our home. I would not hesitate to use Artisan Bathrooms again.

We had wanted to renovate our ensuite for ages. We have dealt with other renovators over the years but called Artisan because they specialized in Kitchens and Baths. Our first meeting with Bob confirmed that we were on the right track. Bob’s estimated prices and time lines were accurate and reasonable. Everyone was hard working and respectful of our home and our time. Bob is very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the decisions we needed to make while updating our wiring and plumbing. I chose Bob based on Homestars reviews and by the fact that he told me he does not use fibreglass insulation, as I wanted to avoid fibreglass due to concern about mould (all other contractors said they would use fibreglass in my basement). I liked the fact that Bob listened to my thoughts on the project and was able to fulfil my requests and always answered my questions. He took the time to drive out of his way to, check out vanities that I was considering, to ensure that the construction and quality was adequate. He was able to obtain some of the plumbing materials through his plumbing supplier which saved money. He also picked up large items for me thus saving delivery charges. He was very attentive to details to ensure excellent finishing of the room. In addition he fixed a few non-bathroom related issues in my house, at no extra charge and even found hinges to fix my grandmother's antique Hoosier cabinet. We are very pleased with the result as our dingey, cold basement bathroom is now a cozy comfortable room that we all like to use.

Bob is just incredible. We've never had a contractor before who has known more about the nuts and bolts of our old house. Unlike some contractors, if there is a cheaper solution to fix a problem, bob will suggest it. I feel we've saved thousands of dollars by using bob because of this. He is also very proactive in anticipating the best way to do something, or install something, etc, even when we haven't thought of it. In contrast to other contractors who haven't done it that way and go by exactly what you tell them to do, and afterwards we wondered they/ or we hadn't thought of the better way to do it, which seemed obvious in retrospect. I give bob my highest rating and would reccomend him to anyone.

Bob did a stellar job and we would definitely hire him again. there were no surprises. it was smooth sailing all the way. Not only did he do a great job on the powder room, but he lent his expertise to us in helping us fix some thorny house ( non-powder room) issues that had vexed us for years. His knowledge of old houses, of which ours is, is impressive. I can't reccomend him highly enough.

This is the second bathroom Bob did for us, and we were thrilled with the results. It looks great and is very functional. Bob is a delight to have in the house, and the work was done on budget and in the estimated time. What I appreciate most is that Bob will happily come back after the job is done to make any required adjustments. He treats the project as being under warranty, and will be back within 24 hours (probably much sooner if it was an emergency) to update it. He is also scrupulously honest and will tell you if there's something you don't need to spend the money on. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Bob on a future project or to recommend him to friends.

Our master ensuite was painfully small and our upstairs main bathroom needed updating so we called on Artisan Bathrooms to do the job. Our ensuite was fully gutted and enlarged by taking over space from our closets (which we moved elsewhere). The additional space allowed us to have the ensuite we had always hoped for. The finished product gave us underfloor heating; a lengthy vanity with 2 sinks; an air jet tub; and a large glass shower enclosure with requisite rain head unit. The tile we chose finished everything off nicely. Our other bathroom needed a new tub with enclosure; tile surround; upgraded vanity/mirror/lighting. Having gone through a nightmare of bathroom reno a few years ago, I was impressed with Bob and his team. I had told Bob at the outset that I valued "communication" (almost) above all else. Keep me in the loop! I am happy to say that that was never an issue. If, for whatever reason, they couldn't come one day (and that was almost never), I was called and told. All the fellows involved with the project were punctual and very pleasant to deal with. Bob was very helpful when it came time to select tiles/faucets etc. and took the time necessary to guide us through whatever we needed, when we needed it. Since completion, I have had two small issues that Bob promptly came out and remedied. That is customer service! I have absolutely no problem recommending Artisan Bathrooms.

I contacted Artisan Bathrooms and Kitchens after reading the many good reviews on Homestars. I was not disappointed. Bob was professional, extremely helpful with design ideas and took the time to meet with me to pick out tiles, fixtures and counter top selections. Bob was never more than a phone call away when I needed advice on design questions. I would highly recommend Artisan for any renovation and I will not hesitate to use them again for a renovation of my kitchen in the future.
