I hate clothes shopping! First April came to my house and helped me weed out my closet. Then she took me on painless shopping trips to pick clothes that actually looked good on me. I now have a great wardrobe and putting together outfits is easy. We meet once a season to add a few pieces that work with the whole wardrobe. I no longer waste money on clothes I don't wear, so April is well worth the money! I have recommended her to friends and business associates.

My husband and I were about to be married and he was going back to school. We made the hard decision to move to a smaller apartment in order to keep our living expenses at a reasonable level. Next, after removing the dated, tired, and unwanted clothes from my closet, she set out shopping. The clothes she chose for me are great - I now look forward to getting dressed each day! We had to move into a house ten days before Christmas with two children and a dog. Both my husband and I are decorating challenged and really needed someone to help with the children's rooms as they were both upset about the move. April worked with the kids to help them pick colours that they liked (but were reasonable to live with), get curtains, little accessories and otherwise turn their rooms into comfortable spaces that they felt they had contributed to and she did all of this while staying within a really tight budget. After 3 years of living with an office -- that I don't think I could really call an office because it really was a dumping ground with a desk and computer in it if you could make your way through the piles of "stuff," I was at the end of my rope and could only continue adding to the mess and never figure out how to find the time or actually how to organize it so I would just close the door and hide it. As a writer it wasn't a place where I could be creative and the guilt of not cleaning it up would always take over. I recently had the pleasure of working with April Poppe on the renovation / organization of my basement and office. The whole experience was great.
