    Garage door service call

    replace broken cable on garage door My garage door cable snapped. The door would no longer open automatically and it was all tilted from having tension released on one side but not the other. I guess this was a pretty straight forward service call. I called to have my cables replaced. The person on the phone gave me a time on the same day.Paul arrived 5min early, fixed the door and was out within the hour. What else can i ask for.
    How did I pick these guys from hundreds listed on yellowpages? simple- I came to the Homestars site and picked a high rated company in my neighbourhood.

    Excellent Customer Service

    Garage Door Opener Installation Our garage door opener broke yesterday, after looking up garage door repair on Homestars, I quickly found All City. They were very helpful and friendly and were able to set up an appointment for this afternoon. Paul [the installer] explained the issue with our old opener [and why it broke] and how the new one was an improved model. He also repaired part of the door that was separating from the frame at no extra cost. Very satisfied!

    quick and free advice that worked

    quick repair for garage door My garage door was not closing with the automated garage door opener, but would open without problem. Manually, no problem. I described the problem, they said it was probably the alignment of the sensor. I fixed it myself in one minute. One must appreciate a company that gives advise to fix a simple problem without having someone to arrive and charge you.

    Beautiful Garage Door

    Garage Door Replacement Last November we started looking for a new insulated garage door, in the hope that it would help make the family room above the garage a bit warmer in the winter. The door we were replacing was painted black, which is a colour not widely available in steel insulated garage doors. We really like the look of the black door though, so as we went through the process of getting estimates and talking to different contractors we couldn't help but feel disappointed that we were going to have to settle on a drab colour or a door painted after it was manufactured. Based on their Homestars rating, we called All City. Donovan came to the house and was very professional. He was very patient with all of our questions, especially about colour and style and why black doesn't work on steel insulated doors (the metal delaminates from the insulation over time because of the heat). He recommended a cherry wood finish, which would go great with our red brick house. He showed us pictures of a similar job he did, and invited us to the Richards-Wilcox showroom to see the door. We went to the showroom and were impressed by the selection and the variety of styles. In spite of some reservations by my wife, we went ahead with the cherry wood finish door.

    Donovan and Paul came to install the door on a -15 degree day in January. They were quick and professional, and the cleanup was excellent. The door is beautiful! My wife loves it now too. It's the talk of our neighbourhood - hopefully All City will get some more business on our street. Many Thanks to Donovan, Paul and Andrea for an excellent job.

    Donovan and his installer are exceptional

    original garage door, cut down, with fascia added I cannot add anything different to the positive feedback already seen above. We needed a new garage door, and All City's quote was he most thoroughly explained installation, both orally and on paper. Donovan and his team came through exactly as promised. And unbekownest to us, the installer came back to retrofit a fascia plate and trim strips. I would fully recommend All City to anyone.

    Excellent sipervice and quality workmanship

    Garage door installation Impressive service and results - Sales/estimate was handled by Donovan who took the time to answer our many questions, and gave us a competivtive quote. Installation was done by Paul who did a professional job. Chris handled the installation of the siding around the garage door. All employees were professional, friendly and showed up propmptly when they said they would. We are very pleased with the results and would not hestitate to recommend All City.

    No pressure Sales

    Replace Garage Door Sales person was very patient and helpful; He explained the various features and helped us understand the optics of different garage door window types. No pressure sales and very accommodating. Installation done in less than a day!

    The Installers were 'exceptional'

    Installed New Garage Doors Would definately recommend anyone in the market for new Garage Doors check these guys out. Prices reasonable! Installation FANTASTIC! Don and his sidekick were meticulous, tidy and obviously took great pride in their work. We are delighted with our installation. Having a showroom to view the quality of the Doors before purchasing was also a BIG PLUS!
