As owner of STRAIGHT UP MASONRY who are one of the top rated chimney build and repair specialists on homestars and in the GTA, I always like to recommend the best to my clients. I will never recommend anyone who I would not use on my own home and that is why I once again called on Marc and the MAGIC TOUCH crew to take care of my chimney cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. Darryl arrived 15 minutes early and promptly set up and begun work, he was polite to both myself and my wife, clean and very detailed in not only explaining what needed to be done but carrying out the work. This is about the sixth time I have used MAGIC TOUCH on my own home with work ranging from liner install's to annual cleanings. I also recommend them to my clients who are in need of the service we at STRAIGHT UP MASONRY do not provide. I have never heard negative feed back about MAGIC TOUCH. I had Adam from Magic Touch come out on September 25, 2012 and the experience was top notch! I had previously called another HomeStars highly rated chimney service and they unfortunately was only interested in my money (i.e in the many thousands). So that is why I called Magic Touch to get another opinion. Adam was very, very professional and took the time to explain things to me. The chimney cleaning and chimney cap installation was very, very thorough and even though we were undergoing renovations, he still cleaned up his workspace. We are extremely happy with Magic Touch and we appreciate Adam going the extra mile with everything he did for us - Adam really does make a difference in people's lives and our experience with Magic Touch!!! A+++ would definitely recommend and we look forward to seeing Magic Touch next year!!!

Adam from Magic Touch came to my new home to clean out my wood burning fireplace. He was early, professional and very efficient. Before I knew it, the interior of the fireplace was cleaned and a chimney cap was installed. As he was leaving, I mentioned a problem with my front door latch. To my surprise, he whipped out a screwdriver and with the wd-40 I supplied to him, it was working in seconds!! Adam helped me when he didn't have to and went over and above what he was supposed to do!! Wow!! I thought only maritimers did that.... impressed, happy and will call Magic Touch again!! From start to finish dealing with Magic Touch was a pleasure. When I called to make the appointment the representative was very friendly and was sure to let me know that all of the service technicians were employees of Magic Touch and not contractors. She then scheduled an appointment for the next time a technician would be in my area. Today, Fred came to clean out chimney. He was on time, professional, very courteous, knowledgeable, did a great job and left no mess. We will definitely call Magic Touch again next year for our annual cleaning!

I finally got around to having the chimney cleaned after about 5 years. I had used Magic Touch the last time also. They arrived on time, finished within the timeframe they indicated and charged what they estimated. While they were at it, they also looked for any trouble areas. All in all a great job!

Great service. I needed to have the existing lock top damper removed and replaced with a squirrel-proof chimney cap in preparation for a gas log installation. Adam called me at work 30 minutes before getting to my home so I didn't have to take a half day off work to wait around. He did the job efficiently and thoroughly. I would definitely call them back to do a cleaning.

Have used this company for a number of years. They contact me regularly. The Technician is prompt, provide a very satisfactory service which takes about an hour and leaves the area near the fire place clean & tidy.

BEST service ever - WE had a fireplace built for us using an existing 100 year old chimney, we had it inspected twice by wett certified companies, but they didn't scope it. We weren't comfortable with that and after reading homestar reviews we called Magic Touch - good thing we did. Richard found MANY dangers with the rebuild. Had we lit the fireplace we would have surely had a house fire. Richard was here through the week, and on weekends and worked long, hard hours to make our fireplace safe for our home. It was one of his biggest jobs ever, and one of the most dangerous examples of a fireplace that he'd ever seen....... It was a lot or work...He's a dedicated guy and a perfectionist. Great, great work and we are SO HAPPY to have a fireplace that works and is SAFE to use!!! Richard gave us all a good lesson on how to light and prepare fires etc. Great guy and we will recommend Magic Touch to everybody!!!!
