I actually heard about A&D from my mother who has used them 6 times over the past decade. We hired them to move out of our condo and it was the best moving experience I've ever had. Their team was extremely friendly and very professional. Their morning job ran late but they called us to let us know and sent extra guys because we could only book the elevator for a specific time. They actually managed the impossible, good, fast and cheap. They moved us out in less time and for less money than estimated. I will 100% use them again.

I heard about A&D when Shane happened to call in to Tech Support when he was having a problem with his phone. I am so glad that I got his call that day and decided to use A&D for our recent move to Ajax. I cannot say enough good about A&D - they were well worth it! They arrived early on the day of the move (this actually ended up being a good thing; because someone else in my building was moving out and if the guys came for 10 I doubt we would have had luck getting the elevator in service). The guys were polite, professional and friendly - it was like they were good friends! Our belongings were handled with care and nothing was broken or scratched - they even fixed a loose leg on our dining room table. I know it is going to be a while until we move again...but without a doubt we will use A&D. Thanks guys!

We were impressed by the punctuality, skill, quick work, and friendliness of the two crews we worked with. The estimate process was quick and professional, and the services were as promised. Despite the long drive up to northern Ontario, the guys worked cheerfully and well, negotiating icy laneways with skill. Being a senior I did not know a mover. A woman in the building recommended them to me. I spoke to the young man on the phone and was very comfortable with his answers and his voice. I have heard about some movers and was very nervous. I had my daughter call them and she agreed with me about the man on the phone. I found A&D Movers from the reviews here on HomeStars. True to every other review I read, the guys arrived early and immediately set to work. There were 4 young men (I was expecting three and they said they added the fourth as a bonus!!). All extremely polite, they introduced themselves and then got down to business. They were out of my old condo in two hours and the whole job beginning to end at the new condo was completed in 4-1/2 hours. i was expecting and budgeted for 6 hours so this was also a nice surprise. The cost of the move was $698 - plus I tipped each of the 4 guys so it was a total of $900 with the tip (hey it was a week before Christmas!!) All in all, on what was a very stressful day, these young men and A&D Movers ensured I had nothing to worry about. i strongly recommend their services.

I had a complicated move to manage, downsizing from the city to the country, involving dozens of large paintings, huge flat files, cartons of heavy books etc. I looked on HomeStars for recommendations and recognized this company from a great household move they did for me in the late 80's. Shane did a site visit a week early and gave me confidence the move was going to work the way I wanted it to. He allowed me to postpone a week when my wrapping got behind schedule and spread the move into two parts so that we would avoid week day traffic and unloading in the dark. The crew were fabulous and everything arrived safely and I barely lifted a finger the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. THANK YOU!

These guys completely wasted my time. After several phone conversations and an in-home visit to make an estimate, they backed out when I asked for the estimate in writing! I find it incredible that movers are so reluctant to make a contract and this makes me feel they are untrustworthy.

Many times potential clients say I will get back to you, As for not putting things in writing , I respond to many e-mails, giving our hourly rates in writing and approx. estimates.As far as being reluctant to do so, you are very wrong. You must have been hurt by several movers in the past.As for leaving this review, I find this to be very (for lack of a better word)childish.
