1-800-GOT-JUNK? Toronto/GTA

Meh.

Removal of random junk. Overall fair service. However they were an hour late (past the 2 hour 'promise window') and I had to call twice to find out what was going on.

Found to be a bit pricey, so I limited what they would remove because of this. I thought they only charged by space, but I was told that heavier items would increase the cost. They did leave several things behind that I thought would be included.

Once they arrived they were friendly and fast.

They did not clean up afterwards, and left some mud in the house. I would probably only recommend for larger jobs.

If you have junk you want to get rid of, the will help you out. They park teh truck in front of your house, and do all the work from there.

Great Service by the Junk removal guys

Basement gutted out due to water damage I helped my client to sell the property ,who had lot of water damage by the recent rains and snow , The whole dry wall and insulation had to be removed ,so we called around for quotes for junk removal and I think we not just got the best service we got a speedy service as well.
Great service guys keep it up ,I know it comes at a cost ,but yu sure beat the competition black.

Minor Complaints

Junk Removal This was our second time using 1-800-GOT-JUNK. While they are pricey, the company is in general very professional and does get the job done. Unfortunately, I did not find this crew as thorough or conscientious as the crew that helped us out the first time. As advertised, the crew is supposed to sweep up after wards, but they didn't this time, and there was even a little bit of broken glass left behind (one of the men did clear most of the glass by hand, but no one swept away the dirt/dust like the first crew did). And although they called ahead to say that they were running late, a follow-up call to tell us their ETA never came and they just showed up at the door unannounced and without the 15-30 minute warning as is the stated procedure. Perhaps they were just in a hurry because they were behind schedule, but still, I was a bit disappointed, especially since our first experience was so good and we were repeat customers. It's the little things that make you a loyal customer.

Service was superb; could not ask for more

Garbage removal Truck arrived on schedule. Both men were exceptional in their approach to customer service. They also quickly finished the work, did a cleanup, and left in a very short period of time.

I was very pleased with the service provided, and would recommend this company to anyone.

1 800 GOT JUNK

Renovations I am very pleased with the services 1 800 GOT JUNK provided. Shane and Eric came to my house at the time they scheduled, provided a quote and removed everything that I wanted them to take in my basement. I was so happy that they took the time to ensure that there was no damage while they were lifting heavy items, including an old dresser that was HUGE! I would definitely call 1 800 GOT JUNK again, the truck team makes everything so easy!!

Great service, a tad on the pricey side

Removed garbage from a basement reno A few years ago we used Got Junk and were really happy, since then, however, we have found their prices to be creeping up and up and we find them expensive now.

Got Junk is professional, courteous and the two times I've used them at my house and dozen or so at work I've always been very satisfied.

I was able to use a $10 coupon offered on their Web site every tie I've used them, but the last time I used them it was expensive, even with the coupon.

Far too expensive

Removal of junk from our backyard Although they did accommodate us last minute on a Saturday--I was very impressed by their telephone order takers--this place is over-the-moon expensive. All they are there to do is take away a bunch of trash. I didn't think I had all that much. They said it would take between a quarter and half a truck, and of course it came out to a half at the end. The problem was, it was hard to tell how much truck my junk filled since there was already a load of junk in there from the last pick-up. When they showed me the truck, it was like ordering bad fast food--you think you've been given a massive portion until you realize the thin layer of meat sits on a mountain of rice. To add insult, they almost took away a number of items that weren't junk -- my son's stroller cover, a rake, a good tarp -- against my specific instructions to take only the rubbish. All that for $400. I was disappointed and will never use the service again.

Mike & Bill Saved The Day!!

Removal of basement furniture, etc Hello,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike & Bill for doing such a wonderful job for me today (Woodbridge, Ontario). I had a very stressful situation and they were kind, courteous, punctual, very informative and really seemed to have fun in the process. I had 2 full truck loads and they did it all in the same day. You have 2 terrific guys working for you and I wouldn't hesitate to refer your company to anyone. I hope to have Mike and Bill back in the spring to help my husband with the garage clean out.

1-800-Got-Junk gets an A+

Garage full of unused and unwanted items. We had a garage full of stuff that was not being used and was destined for recycling or junking or whatever. 1-800-Got- Junk backed up one of their trucks and removed everything - and cleaned up behind themselves! Apart from the great service and courteous and friendly employees, I appreciated that they would recycle as much as possible, rather than simply dumping it in the nearest landfill. I would, indeed I already have, recommended this company to friends and family.
