In 2012, Easter Seals Give a Kid a Lift program is partnering with Canwest Elevator & Lifts, Avi Renovations, Rona Home Center Ogden Road and Garaventa Lifts to provide nine-year-old Juliana an accessibility elevator in her two story Calgary home.

Juliana has been wheelchair bound since birth due to Spastic Cerebral Palsy. She's looking forward to the independence an elevator provides and the opportunity to play upstairs with her sisters without having to be carried.

Easter Seals Give a Kid a Lift program is the first of its kind in Alberta. The program provides accessible equipment, like elevators or lifts, depending on availability and need by partnering with local businesses.
