The Word On The Street

Vancouver's The Word On The Street is Western Canada's largest celebration of words and reading. The Word On The Street Vancouver promotes books and authors with free exhibits, performances and hands-on activities for a wide range of ages and interests.

Annually, Vancouver's The Word On The Street attracts an estimated 35,000 visitors, and hundreds of participating exhibitors, authors, performers and volunteers to Library Square for literary readings, cookbook demonstrations, music, contests, panels and much more.

Join us on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at Library Square and CBC Plaza.

Members of HomeStars will be on-site to introduce you to our site and discuss our upcoming fundraising program supporting the Vancouver Public Library Foundation
